There are barriers #InBetween that can not be seen.

Winters trying to hang on and spring is trying to burst forth.

Where I find my power,

Places that most only pass though,

but I stop and think of you,

and miss you.

As in inbetween the car park and my office.

Inbetween Dungeness Power Station and what were once coastguard cottages there is an interesting hill where an array of grasses and wildflowers flourish.

We had some heavy rain over night. The succulents thrive when being able to collect the rain drops.

A mirage is a naturally occurring optical phenomenon in which light rays are bent to produce a displaced image of distant objects or the sky. The word comes to English via the French mirage, from the Latin mirari, meaning "to look at, to wonder at". This is the same root as for "mirror" and "to admire".

In contrast to a hallucination, a mirage is a real optical phenomenon that can be captured on camera, since light rays are actually refracted to form the false image at the observer's location. What the image appears to represent, however, is determined by the interpretive faculties of the human mind. For example, inferior images on land are very easily mistaken for the reflections from a small body of water.

Mirages can be categorized as "inferior" (meaning lower), "superior" (meaning higher) and "Fata Morgana", one kind of superior mirage consisting of a series of unusually elaborate, vertically stacked images, which form one rapidly changing mirage.

I went on an insect hunt for this weeks 'All Natural' theme, did not expect to find this tiny snail climbing from one leaf to another, considering the heat. But it was just about slow enough for me to catch it.

These Gas holders are near to Kings Cross and St Pancras Stations, with Gasholder Park providing a green space next door to these two buildings, which were made within and using the frames from the old gas holders there.

At the time of the photograph, there are still apartments available to buy.

The gas holders were built in the 1850s as part of the St Pancras gasworks, and decommissioned in 2000.

With the mist buiding in the valley bottom and clouds passing overhead the sun just managed to pick out the Coniston Mountains inbetween.
