i have taken the color out and left a tiny bit in. I wanted to see more of the detail.
I will work on this photo perhaps..on some rainy or snowy day in future.

My first roll on my Moskva V. I had set up the camera to shoot 6x9 negatives but was advancing the film using the 6x6 setting. So a lot of overlap & double exposure here.
On the plus side, the camera seems technically sound. Focus appears to work. Lens seems good. I just need to practice with it more.
Oh, also my scanner can't handle 6x9 negatives. Which made this even weirder. In future I'll have to use a different scanner or stitch two scans together.
Shot on a Moskva 5 using very old T-Max 100. Pulled 1 stop due to age. Developed in Cinestill df96. Scanned using my Olympus OM-D E-M53 and a Takumar 50/4 macro.

Essential Travel Only - Gimpo's M25 25 Hour Spin March 2021
“Take one day, rest a while, and pretend the world is just for you"
“They could do with a bench here” - Lewis Greifer
Sometimes I do things I don't fully understand. Gimpo's M25 25 Hour Spin remains top of the list.
Sat at a table at Thurrock Services some years ago, sometime around 5am, Gimpo couldnt work out how many years and how many M25 25 Hour spins he had done, or planned to do. I sat and listened as Tim told him to count on his fingers: 1997 was Spin year #1. Spin year #25 would be 2021. Gimpo looked utterly confused by it all.
The plan this year was to plant a bench to mark 25 years of Gimpo's M25 25 Hour Spin. “Benches are about functionality: they need to be used. Unlike a gravestone, a bench shows that somehow you’re still part of the world, you have a purpose and a function.”
But this year, like last, was a global pandemic and respect had to be shown to anyone who may have lost friends, family and loved ones. We all masked up and met outside on the tarmac in the main carpark at Thurrock Services, between J30 and J31 off the M25.
This year was assembled under the guidelines of "Essential travel, for work purposes only." There will be more spins in future to make up for lost time, but for now, the memorial bench had to be planted. On the M25 Gimpo is the artist, and he had decided the bench was going in by any means necessary, safety first, of course.
Gimpo was very excited about his new Van, it was leaking water but other than that it was in good shape. It was a classic Ford Transit panel van which he had bought online a few days ago from someone in Worcester.

Day 89 ... and i learnt a new word: operculum.
I'd discovered quite some time ago what these little shell fragments that one sees on the beach are. To myself, i started calling them "doors". (And there's many a live seashell i've picked up on the reef that has slammed its door in my face). Now i've discovered they have a "real" name: operculum.
Quote: The foot of many gastropods bears an operculum that seals the shell opening (aperture) when the head-foot is retracted into the shell.
In future, i shall try to use the correct term ... but what's the betting that i forget it, and go back to referring to them as "doors".

Another multiplicity shot taken at Kays. Going to have to use markers in future to remember where we've been stood, and hopefully we get a dry day soon so poses can be a little more realistic…for example strewn across the grass, etc (not the mud which would of been the case here!)
Got too cold so I quit halfway through.
Anyone interested in future moonshots my settings were f/11 at 1/100, 400mm and ISO400 shot on manual mode. Cropped in post.

If we just comparethe hatred speechesof thesaffron gang of our times with that of the thoughts of religious harmony of aking some.
500 years ago, we will come to know the worthiness of Ram and his heirs. This Will of Babur is not afraudulent bhraminicallegendary.

distortion; it isahistorically documented record which can never be denied. In his will to his son, afather need not write a lie. Even if.
.
we assumethat there had been a Ram temple, and even if Babur has really demolished it, there is absolutely no need for EmperorBaburto hide it at that time. Because, by no way he could not have predicted that the RSS lunatics would accuse him 500 years later.Poor Babur, he did not have the Gyan Drushti which was privy· ONLY the blessed' bhramin rishis!! Still, the RSS and other Hindufanatic gang has created a number of lies and concocted tales about Babur and other Mughul kings. Akbar, who came in the lineageof Babur, tried to unite different religions. He brought together a number of good aspects from different known religions of his periodand created a new rerigion called Din-i llahr. Akbar promoted tolerance of other faiths. In fact, not only did he tolerate them, he.
encouraged debate on philosophical and religious issues. Thoug·h his new religion was afailure, it was avery progressive thought for.

andwere leading ~sensuous life. But in administration and social aspects, they were much more exemplary when compared to Ram..
.
In human history, there were a number of leaders whom we praise as National Heroes'. These leaders understood the changes oftheir times, understood the reasons behind peoples' sufferings, and have lead and participated in struggles for liberating people.Though the role of not leaders are not primary, they are important. .
Spartacus, who organized the slaves of Rome, who have not even realised about their slavery, to stand together and struggle for.

freedom and equality;Jesus who worked to get rid of the cravings of the slaves; Mohammed, who regulated the lives of Arabian ethnic.
nomads; Buddha, who dreamt of creating afraternal community by annihilating the brutal bhraminical rituals; Che Guevara who fought.
.
the American Imperialism till his last breath; Kamal Basha who relieved Turkey from the clutches of religious fanatics; NelsanMandala, who expended whole of youth in prison in his struggle against the racism; Bhagat Singh, who gave new confidence to theIndianyouth in struggle against the British; the leaders of Naxalbari and Telengana struggles; Ambedkar, Periyar, Mahatma Phule areall National Heroes who have worked for betterment of lives of their fellow human beings. Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin and Mao are.
great leaders who dreamt of creating a<.;ommunist society in future are fondly being remembered by the proletariat all over the world. Thus history has created a number of revolutionary leaders all through. But still these Hindu religious fanatics are issuing decrees tocelebrate Ram as anational hero. Does Ram have even asingle quality possessed by any one of these leaders? .
Just for the sake of argument, even if we assume that the story of Ram is true, what is that he has done that is so extrJordi nary and.
precious? To save his fathers promise, he went on to live in the forest as instructed by his aunt; he made his brother the king, to rule.
the nation till his return; he conducted ahuge battle, leading to lossof thousands of lives, just to save his wife; ruled Ayodhya again on.
.
his return. Still the only glory of Ramthat every devotee of Rama, preachers and the RSS clique repeatedly describes is that he hasremained faithful to his wife. Though there are claims contrary to that in Valmiki's Ramayana, let us, for the sake of argument, acceptthat it is true. If we have to make aperson anational hero, just for the sake of being faithful to his wife, what should we say about theworthiness ofthat particular religionor nation? .
Thus, exposing all these fraudulent concocted tales about 'great' avtar Rama is not just an atheist debate -it is a freedomstruggle against brahminical Hindu social structure for relieving the whole society from the clutches of brahminical.
deception.Ram is NOT A real hero; heis avillain. .

The goal of Star of Hope school activities in Trinidad is to give poor children the skills necessary to enter primary school so that in future they better chance to improve their own lives.
In our schools, we give children a well-balanced meal and basic health care.
These things together create conditions for children from poor backgrounds to grow up into healthy, educated adults who can provide for themselves and their family. In this way we are able to help develop entire communities! For how can a child be able to rise out of poverty if he or she cannot read or write, and are always hungry or ill?
Another important objective of the activities is to show these children and their parents that there are people who see their situation and who want to help them to change it.
In all things we purpose to demonstrate the love of God toward the people we serve and as possible share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The 5 X 5 Exhibition is a temporary installation comprised of various design concepts expressing contemporary issues in landscape architecture and environmental design. The goal of the exhibit is to help improve outdoor environments at The University of Texas at Austin campus by exploring and experimenting with alternative solutions to the university's vernacular landscape. The exhibition will take place in twenty-five 5'x5' raised concrete planters at the northwestern corner of the Harry Ransom Center (HRC).
Currently, these planters are neglected as a result of the challenging site conditions including: inadequate sunlight, lack of permanent irrigation, poor soil conditions, and shelter any natural precipitation. In response, the ASLA Student Chapter hosted a design competition housed within the School of Architecture encouraging students to propose expressive alternatives and sustainable solutions to this challenging site. Thirty-nine submissions were narrowed down through a jury of faculty members to twenty-five proposals that each received fifty dollars to install each design concept.
Ultimately, the UT Austin ASLA student chapter hopes to work towards a long-term solution for this challenging site. In the meanwhile, the temporary exhibition will bring attention to this neglected place on campus and help improve the university's awareness of how landscape architecture students in the School of Architecture could become helpful resources in future campus improvement projects.
The exhibition is on display through May 8.
