Day One of Vivienne McMaster's Embody Self-Portrait photography class found me out hiking for the day, enjoying an unusually warm November day. It was a challenge to find the right place to rest my camera and set the timer, this downed tree trunk worked in the moment.
Our Daily Challenge: Coat Hook -- One must improvise when the day is spent flying from the East Coast of the USA to the West Coast.
Thank you so much for your views, comments and favs. I really do appreciate every one!

Down a gently sloping road to hike and explore the beautiful beaches of Southampton Parish in Bermuda. Not strenuous by any means...
What of miniature boats constructed of birch bark and fallen leaves, launched onto cold water as clear as air? How many fleets were pushed out toward the middles of ponds or sent down autumn brooks, holding treasures of acorns, or black feathers, or a puzzled mantis?
Let those grassy crafts be listed alongside the iron hulls that cleave the sea, for they are all improvisations built from the daydreams of men, and all will perish, whether from ocean siege or October breeze.

Ever since starting my studies, I felt I've done too little to my hobby. I'm often longing to photography whenever I ride back to my home town in the train. Today I did again, as there were some impressive skies. I jumped on my bicycle, and tried to do something else for once (that means no windmills).
