I haven't had pencil toppers in the house since my grown children were in school, so I had to improvise a bit for this challenge.

A few more improvised night shots of Boroughmuir High School, by the Union Canal, at night.
I was walking home from work, so wasn't carrying the tripod, just set the timer on the camera and sat it on railings and tops of gates to steady it, and crossed my fingers (sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't, but not like I am wasting film by trying!)

Eastbound Union Pacific coal train rolling through Hanover Park on a really cold day. I had hoped the snow would get tossed up a bit but the train wasn't going very fast. Those number plates are worth a double take :-)
Thanks to Mark Llanuza for the heads up on this one.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!!
Wednesday morning I walked 1200m round-trip through Marler Park from Creed Road. For those paying attention, Creed Road is the access road connecting Watkiss Way to Highland Pacific Golf Course.
Following the creek southbound, the trail connects to Marler Road (where there's a manufactured playground).
