How can you connect your own personal bio-electromagnetic field directly into the Earth’s much larger and slower field in order to discharge high frequency energy that has entered into your field from the environment?

How can you use simple grounding technology help you beat jet lag, boost energy and catch up on years of lost sleep?

Today we are exploring the practice of connecting our body to the Earth’s magnetic field, which is a very low and steady 8hz charge, as this practice allows us to discharge all that high frequency energy that is flying around our environment, altering and distorting our body’s natural bio-electromagnetic field.

Grounding out high frequency energy from our field into the Earth can be done most directly by lying down on the grass, the forest floor or a sandy beach, though there is very simple and effective technology that can allow us to use the electrical grounding system inside any properly wired building in order to connect to the Earth’s balancing 8 Hz charge.

Of course, everyone knows that lying on the beach is incredibly relaxing and there’s been plenty of research into how the concentration of negative ions at the beach are so beneficial for our health because they donate electrons to our bio-electromagnetic field.

And we know that negative ions are produced in mass by the crashing water of the waves, so walking right by the breaking waves is where you get the freshest air. And this is also one reason you may be drawn to linger in the shower, because breathing in the negative ions from crashing water is just really refreshing…

But negative ions are not the only beneficial effect we get from the beach. Walking along the beach also helps our electrical body to connect to the low 8 Hz frequency of the Earth… and this is especially pronounced when you lay down on the beach for a while.

Have you ever laid down on the beach and gotten so relaxed that you get the sensation of feeling you’re actually like, magnetically stuck to the ground? Like the beach is literally holding you down, in a very pleasant and relaxing way, but you are going to have to really uhhhhhh! push! to get yourself up!

And I’m sure you have noticed that you also get very refreshed from laying on the beach like this, and also that if you get up too quickly from this deep relaxation, you feel groggy and a bit discombobulated…. but if you lay there long enough, you end up feeling deeply recharged.

Well, these effects are not due to negative ions but from being so directly connected to the Earth’s slowly oscillating 8 hz frequency.

This low frequency slows your electromagnetic field down immensely, which allows your body to literally “ground out” all those high frequencies that have entered into your field, such as and wifi’s standard 2.4 gigahertz frequency and cell phones with 4 and 5 gigahertz frequencies.

You know, there is an invisible sea of high frequency energy that we are swimming in all the time.

So grounding ourselves to the Earth by laying on the beach or the forest floor is a powerful natural remedy that can help us detoxify at the body’s electromagnetic level, and, as would make sense, this has a very powerful effect on our brain and our nervous system, both of which are highly electrical.

Seen from a more conventional medical perspective, grounding lets our autonomous nervous system drop into a very deep parasympathetic state, which helps to restore our foundation of centered focus, presence, clarity, and restores equilibrium to all the body’s systems.

To do an intention grounding practice, you can lay around on the beach and wait for grounding to happen naturally, but it’s actually pretty easy to do this consciously to speed up the process of grounding. You lay on the beach, on the grass, really anywhere on the earth is fine, and you can use a blanket or a towel to not get too dirty if you prefer, because the electromagnetic frequency of the Earth can definitely pass through fabric. Though having some direct skin contact is probably more effective.

“The greatest challenge for me is to keep improving every aspect of the compositions and arrangements,” says ARCH ENEMY founder/guitarist Michael Amott about new album, War Eternal. “I’m always searching for ‘the perfect ARCH ENEMY song.’ When I started the band in 1995 I had the idea to create the most heavy melodic band of all time.”

And he did. Over the course of 19 years, ARCH ENEMY, under Amott’s guidance, crafted 10 acclaimed full-lengths, dominated sales charts, and toured the globe. If Amott were a smart man, he’d retire now to some tropical island with his favorite Michael Schenker records in tow and the setting sun on his face. But neither he nor ARCH ENEMY are done. Not by a long shot.

With vocalist Alissa White-Gluz replacing long-time frontwoman Angela Gossow in 2014 respectively, War Eternal is ARCH ENEMY reborn. “Changes in the band lineup are hardly ever looked upon favorably by the fans,” Amott acknowledges, “which I completely understand. Nonetheless, it does happen and the changes that have been made in the ARCH ENEMY camp were necessary in order for the band to survive and keep going. I love the energy of working with new people and Alissa has certainly brought a lot of talent and enthusiasm to the band!”

When Amott recruited Angela Gossow to front ARCH ENEMY for the Wages of Sin effort, he changed extreme metal forever. With White-Gluz, he has a new weapon. She’s a veritable firebrand on War Eternal, her unrelenting roar, cruel rasp and unique looks are the mark of a woman ready to conquer the world. “My goal is to keep ARCH ENEMY alive and thriving!” White-Gluz exclaims. “I want to open a whole new chapter for ARCH ENEMY, powerful and diverse, all the while respecting the legions of fans that love traditional ARCH ENEMY. Fans can expect loads of pure fucking metal.”

At 13 tracks, War Eternal is the quintessential ARCH ENEMY album. It’s both a nostalgic nod to the band’s past (“Never Forgive, Never Forget”, “No More Regrets”) and stunning example of what’s possible in the future (“Down to Nothing”, “Time is Black”). But if there’s a standout track—a spearhead—it’s the title song. Unveiled to the world on Youtube, “War Eternal” marches defiantly against the mundane, two raised fists to the constraints of society and the cage it desperately tries to put on us all. In it, White-Gluz proves she’s the next generation of great, while Amott and the rest of ARCH ENEMY play as if ”War Eternal” is their last song. That ”War Eternal” amassed an astonishing 1.5 million views the first 10 days is telling of its conviction and power. “There are a lot of details in this album that excite me as a songwriter and guitarist,” Amott grins. “Personally, I’ve pushed myself harder as player on War Eternal and feel I’ve gone to another level this time, which is very rewarding. I actually think the whole band has kicked everything up a notch or two.”

Produced by the band and mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Paradise Lost) at Fascination Street Studio, the Swedes’ 10th full-length is unrelentingly brutal yet remarkably polished. “We could afford any big name producer at this stage in the game,” says Amott. “Having the band produce the album was a natural and logical way of working for us at this point. It was critical that we bring out the true ARCH ENEMY sound, the essence of the band on this record and who knows that better than us? Jens Bogren did an outstanding mixing and mastering the album. It was my first time working with him and I am more than impressed with his talent.”

The album was hailed as “Album Of The Month” in Terrorizer (UK), Powerplay (UK), Metal Hammer (Germany), Rock Hard (France), Metallian (France), Scream (Norway), Sweden Rock (Sweden) and got more than positive reviews all over the world; additionally, War Eternal achieved career-best chart positions for the band in the USA (#44), Germany (#9), Finland (#5), France (#56), and The Netherlands (#36), plus the best UK chart entry (#85) since Doomsday Machine (#81). ARCH ENEMY were also honored to appear on the front covers of Revolver (USA), Legacy (Germany), Rock Hard (France), Inferno (Finland), Up (Netherlands), Aardschok (Netherlands), Metal Maniac (Italy),Pro Rock (Bulgaria), Into The Pit (Thailand) and many more magazines.

Right after the release of War Eternal, the band kicked off their eternal touring with sublime festival shows at Wacken, Sweden Rock and many more, followed by a world tour with Kreator (with whom they released a split 7” single later in October 2014).

During the USA headline tour with Kreator, the band decided to part ways with guitarist Nick Cordle.

Christopher Amott (the brother of ARCH ENEMY founder/bandleader Michael Amott) joined the band for the remainder of their American headlining tour and Jeff Loomis (ex-Nevermore) stepped in for the following European dates with Kreator. Jeff will continue for another busy year in 2015 and beyond.

Jeff Loomis states: "I'm very excited to be playing with ARCH ENEMY. Michael Amott and I have stayed in contact over the years since we toured together when I was playing in Nevermore. Not only do I admire his guitar playing and songwriting, but I also consider him a close friend. To be able to share the stage with Michael, Sharlee, Daniel and Alissa is something I'm really looking forward to. 2015 is going to be a great year... See you all on tour!"

Michael Amott (guitars) comments: "The prospect of working with Jeff Loomis moving forward is truly awesome! Jeff Loomis is one of the best guitar players in the metal world in my opinion, as well as being a long time friend. I look forward to tearing it up on stages around the world together as we continue on the ‘War Eternal' touring cycle throughout all next year and beyond!"

There is no doubt that ARCH ENEMY are stronger than ever before. And the war is not over yet.

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Monarch butterfly populations have declined over recent decades due to degraded habitat, but Oregon landowners are making great strides to improve monarch habitat on private lands, with technical and financial assistance from the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS). Milkweed is a critical component of monarch habitat because it’s the only plant on which they will lay their eggs, and it’s a vital food source for monarch caterpillars. Just one example of this partnership at work is the recent establishment of milkweed clusters on the E4 Ranch easement in Benton County, Oregon. Under this project, NRCS enrolled 192-acres of private land into a 30-year wetland easement in 2005. As part of the easement contract, NRCS and the USFWS provided financial and technical assistance to restore the site to its native wetland prairie condition. Before the restoration, the land was a flat pasture, filled with a single-species of grass for cattle grazing. Now, the site is a diverse landscape filled with native trees, plants, and shrubs—including pollinator habitat such as gumweed and milkweed. NRCS photo by Tracy Robillard.

After missing the first two days of Texans training camp before agreeing to a five-year, $14 million contract Saturday, outside linebacker Brian Cushing is eager to get on the practice field today with his new teammates.

Cushing, the first-round draft choice from Southern California, is getting $10.435 million in guaranteed money to become the starter on the strong side and help improve a defense that ranked 22nd last season, including 23rd against the run.

“I’m just relieved and excited to have this done,” Cushing said. “I’m ready to play football and help the team win.”

Cushing (6-3, 262) was in Los Angeles when agent Tom Condon reached the agreement with general manager Rick Smith and director of football administration Chris Olsen.

Cushing’s contract could be worth a maximum of $18 million over five years.

In the fifth year of his deal, there’s a clause that could earn him an additional $4 million in an escalator bonus.

Odds are that Cushing’s contract will be extended before he enters the fifth season in 2013.

Smith and Olsen will have all eight of their draft choices under contract when the Texans take the field for the third day of two-a-day drills at their Methodist Training Center.

“It’s very important to have him signed,” coach Gary Kubiak said. “Rick and Chris were up at 3 in the morning trying to get it done. They’ve done a good job.

“Brian’s two days behind now, but he didn’t miss anything we did in the offseason program, so that’s a good thing. He wanted to be here while we were working on the contract, but he couldn’t.”

Rookies who have signed with the Texans report a week early for conditioning and meetings before practicing for the first time with the veterans. Cushing wanted to report with the rookies.

He was working out at Reliant Stadium last week when the Texans had to explain league rules that forced him to leave.

Cushing took what turned out to be a quick trip back to Los Angeles. He returned to Houston on Saturday afternoon.

Texans coaches are excited to get him on the practice field.

“We’re going to put the pads on (Sunday morning), and I know he’s chomping at the bit to get out there,” Kubiak said.

After the Texans used the 15th pick in the first round on Cushing, they inserted him into the starting lineup. He impressed his coaches in the organized team activities and minicamp.

“We like his presence on the ball,” Kubiak said, meaning Cushing has a knack for finding the ball and making plays. “He’s playing over the tight end, and we’re going to ask him to do a great deal. We think he can handle it.

“Brian’s very athletic. He’s physical against the run. He can rush the passer. He can drop into coverage. We brought him here for a reason, and we’re going to put him to work real fast.”

Frank Bush, who is in his first season as defensive coordinator, has to make calls that maximize Cushing’s strengths. The faster Cushing learns, the quicker Bush plans to utilize all his talent.

“We’re going to try to take advantage of all his talent,” Bush said. “Because he’s such a talented kid, there are a lot of things we can do with him.”

The coaches say they think Cushing has everything it takes to become a star at his position.

“Brian can turn and run with the tight end,” Bush said. “He’s big and strong enough to strike them at the line of scrimmage and nullify some of their speed down the field, so we’re comfortable with him in coverage.

“His ability also gives us a chance to be aggressive toward the quarterback. He’s a big guy who’s shown he can get there.”

When we think of a Silo do we think of a unit in which free flowing goods such as grain are stored or do we usually think of some tube beneath the ground somewhere in one of those square states in the West out of which our nuclear missiles might one day launch? The answer is neither.

We are parked at the foot of a concrete silo at Rocks Pond Campground, an edifice which stands in stark contrast to the autumnal trees and the gazebo at the banks of Lake Marion in the background. You don't see a lot of concrete silos anymore unless you cruise the secondary roads of the double secret circuit of byways in very rural South Carolina. The keepers of the campground have left this old concrete silo in place perhaps as a gesture to the past, a piece of educational architecture for visiting families. More likely they didn't tear it down simply because nobody's going to pull it down for free nor will someone haul off the debris just for fun. Besides, they don't seem to need anymore rip-rap at the water's edge. We don't know.

There are many warning signs at Rocks Pond, orders from headquarters as to what is prohibited and what is required of visitors. They were not erected all at once and are likely responses to a wide variety of mischief visited upon the grounds and structures by unmonitored children at play or unhinged adults after extended cocktail hours. In this case all are asked to refrain from tossing trash into the silo. This seems necessary since the gaping hole in the silo almost begs to receive the campers' refuse. It also looks like a mighty good place to burn the stuff. It's too inviting. It may be a trap.

Silage is the stuff stored in silos which is often fermented grain intended as fodder for ruminant creatures. The management doesn't want folks to ferment any beer cans, second hand diapers, old newspapers or new potatoes in their free standing concrete silo, a sound policy with which we agree.

Even after exploring the campground's oddly diverse appointments, the question still remains as to why this strange thing remains. Especially when no one is about the property, the mind tends to wander. We thought of the unexplained black obelisk in the movie, 2001, A SPACE ODYSSEY. Maybe this thing has some special place in this universe which cannot be known and must not be disturbed. We remember what happened in the movie to those guys who fooled around with the obelisk. The keepers of the grounds may just be trying to save us from a similar fate. Whatever the reason, this silo is part of the strange beauty of Rocks Pond, the campground from another planet.

Designed by the master of fast craft marine architects, George Selman, some 54 of this type were built as Mid craft by British Power Boats between 1940 & 1943, and 27 were later built to the slightly improved MkIA specification. Eight of the Mk1 craft, including both craft on display at Marchwood, were subsequently converted to the MkIA specification. Post war a further 6 craft were built by Thornycroft to plans supplied by the Air Ministry, obtained from British Power Boat when they closed down. Like his larger 68ft HSL (the Hants & Dorset), Selman's ST was to become the standard craft of its type post war. The 41½ ft ST's were also known as the "Broad Beam" type and they were redesignated as Range Safety Launches (RSLs) in later service.

The hull was of wood, designed on the hard chine principle with single diagonal mahogany side planking and double diagonal bottom planking, also of mahogany, on frames. The superstructure was fabricated from wood and extended aft from the wheelhouse to the cockpit. The superstructure roof was of Flexopy, covered with canvas and supported by mahogany beams. All the craft were powered by twin Perkins S6M diesels, Meadows gearboxes and direct drive to Nickel Aluminium propellers. Later craft had a fuel capacity of 130 gallons, a range of 150 miles and could attain a maximum speed of 23 knots, with a continuous cruising speed of 20 knots. During the early part of the war, a few of this type were armed and fitted out for Air Sea Rescue duties. ST 1502 was thus fitted,

ST 1502 was the third craft of the third batch of this type to have been built by BPB as their Yard No. 1888. The craft was taken on charge by the RAF on 24.03.42 and immediately despatched to be used by 51 Air Sea Rescue Unit (AS RU) under control of Coastal Command at Penrhos and Pwllheli in Wales. The tender remained based at the unit for virtually all of her WWII service before being transferred to No 56 ASRU based at Portaferry. The allocation was recorded as 30.05.45, however ST 1502 was not received at her new base until July the same year.

Within a few months the craft was on the move to be based at Alness, in Scotland, still with Coastal Command. This allocation was dated 18.10.45 and the craft recorded as received at Alness in November 1945. Post war the ASRU's were deactivated and replaced by Marine Craft Units (MCU). Thus ST 1502 was allocated to 1100 MCU on 23 .08.46 which was based at Invergordon. In line with RAF policy at that time, most surviving wartime built seaplane tenders were "converted" or had a role change and were thus redesignated as Range Safety Launches. Several of the original Mid craft including ST 1502 were upgraded to MkIA specification in the early 1950's. ST 1502 was taken in hand at 238 Maintenance Unit (MU), Calshot on 17.5.50 for conversion on authority dated 14.2.50 (A73418). On completion RSL 1502 was returned to be based at Invergordon/Alness until she became surplus at the end of 1955. The craft was stricken off charge by the RAF on 31.12.55 and subsequently offered for disposal as lying at the RAF base at Calshot.

It came out of RAF service in the mid 1950s and went into private hands to be converted to a pleasure craft. It gave some fine service in this capacity but eventually fell into disrepair. It was taken on by British Military Powerboat Trust in the late 1990s to he restored to its former glory.

On the 18th July 2009, ST 1502 left Marchwood, her home for many years, en route to her new home in Portsmouth. She was crewed by those members of the BMPT who had given so many years of their lives to restoring her. On arrival she was berthed at the pontoon just inside the Historic Dockyard gate, where she was handed over to the PNBP Trust.

Keeping cities on the move, while preserving the environment, has long been at the heart of the EBRD’s and EU’s work. We financed improvements to the metro system in Yerevan, Armenia, funded a fleet of new, green trolleybuses in Chisinau and Balti, Moldova, and are now introducing the first electric buses in the region of Batumi, Georgia. These are just some of the locations where we have made people’s daily commutes easier and more comfortable.

The EBRD’s Green Cities Framework aims to develop energy efficient and modern municipal services across its region in a bid to improve citizens’ well-being.

Notes: Major changes include a decrease in leg segments to make it less of a giant weapon and more of a humanely piloted frame. A new set of parts for a cohesive color scheme of grey, black, and of course, the all important color red. I'm actually pretty happy that I didn't have to downsize the guns very much.

The Black One X-wing was subject to an order of modification parts. Most notably, I extended the wingtip cannons, changed the rear landing legs, and replaced the S-foil wing joints with a sturdier design.

The Challenge Stradale is a limited production track-day car based on the 360 Modena, inspired by the 360 Modena Challenge racing car so the focus was primarily on improving its track lapping performance by concentrating on handling, braking and weight reduction characteristics.

The Challenge Stradale accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.0 seconds (three tenths faster than a Modena).

In total, the Challenge Stradale is up to 110 kg (243 lb) lighter than the standard Modena if all the lightweight options are specified such as deleted radio, lexan (plexiglass) door window and Alcantara fabric (instead of the leather option).

The engine and transmission weight was slimmed down 11 kg (24 lb) through the use of a smaller, lighter weight sports (yet still stainless steel) exhaust back box and valved exit pipes. The Challenge Stradale also got Brembo carbon ceramic brakes as standard (which later became standard fitment on the F430) which shaved 16 kg off the curb weight and improved handling by reducing unsprung weight and completely eliminating brake fade.

In summer 2018 WSDOT contractor crews will build a roundabout at the intersection of SR 542/Mount Baker Highway and the eastern leg of SR 9 to improve safety and reduce severe crashes.

These highways were last paved in the 1990’s and early 2000’s. WSDOT maintenance crews work to keep these highways in good condition each year but highways should be repaved every 15 years. These roads are overdue for a longer lasting fix.

As part of this project a number of pedestrian crossings will also be improved to meet current standards and approve safety and walkability around Whidbey Island.

very similar to the last year Christmas boxes but with square shape...

I love this paper, it's very strong and excelent for sturdy but festive boxes

(this is wrapping paper bought in tesco some years ago... it's consumed now)

Improvments from the suggestions of the Immortal geisha ladies ^^

www.maanhealth.com/ It is highly important for a person to have a strong immune system since many individuals are too stressed due to the pressure of their jobs.

This is PHotokraft paper with a changed dichromate and adjusted procedure. It is promising and I hope to be able to gather all my notes to repeat the progress made now.

This paper is too thin but has the surface to keep a sharp image. It has been a long time since I managed to see the richness of both detail with this process and the contrast as it is here.

The US Army began developing antitank missiles in the mid-1960s, but struggled in finding an adequate launcher for them. Both the M551 Sheridan and M60A2 "Starship" Patton used the M51 Shillelagh missile, but neither tank was impressive in combat, and the Shillelagh left something to be desired. The Army developed the far superior TOW (Tube-launched, Optically-tracked Wire-guided) missile in the late 1960s, but lacked a vehicle that could fire it, though infantry were equipped with TOW launchers.

As was often the case at the time, the Army hit on the idea of modifying the ubiquitous M113 APC to the role of TOW launcher, as the M901 Improved TOW Vehicle (ITV). The general chassis was unchanged, but a "hammerhead" TOW launcher was added to the top of the hull, replacing the commander's cupola and machine gun. The launcher carried two BGM-71s ready to fire, and a further ten inside. To reload the launcher, it was simply dropped back, and new missiles could be loaded completely undercover. Best of all, the launcher meant the ITV could fire from "hull down," exposing only the launcher itself. The ITV retained all the problems of the M113--light armor and vulnerability to mines--and would have trouble moving while the TOW launcher was in firing position. Still, the system worked, it was easy to employ, and inexpensive. It was also developed into the M981 FIST (Fire Support Team Vehicle), which replaced the TOW launcher with a laser turret to spot for incoming artillery.

The M901 was intended to be used in a European conflict, where it would be attached to tank teams and act as tank destroyers, firing from under cover and ambush. It was supplemented by the M2 Bradley, which had a TOW launcher as well, and TOW-equipped HMMWVs, but these had to be reloaded by a crewman exposed to fire. In the end, the M901 was never used in Europe, but saw action in both Gulf Wars. The US Army withdrew the M901 in the early 21st Century, but ten other countries still use it as of this writing.

This ITV is on display at Fort Douglas, near Salt Lake City, Utah, and is shown with the TOW launcher in firing position. It retains its desert camouflage and Gulf War tactical markings on the hull, though more than likely this M901 was not assigned to the Utah National Guard (which mostly consists of engineer and artillery units).

Over two years ago, I posted an image of my workflow. Today, I decided it was due for an update.

This is the perfect "Portable yet Powerful" combination, version 2!
