The liter of DK 50 had been mixed up in April, 2023, and had already processed 10 rolls of film - but it still had some kick left. Just picked an arbitrary development time and accepted the developer at the temp it was on the shelf.

Only a few kilometers out of the town, up on the hills, close to the mountains, there were snow, wind and cold, cold, cold... So, winter is still here...:
Lemmie lives in an old shack down by the river next door to Sophilia. He really wanted to impress Sophilia, so, he decided to take her to a restaurant that served lobster tails instead of the crawdads she was used to pulling out of the river. Not that there is anything wrong with crawdads; you just have to eat a ton of them. Anyway, Lemmie couldn't find a restaurant within walking distance that served lobster, but, he thought maybe Basque cocktails would be a good substitute. Turns out, cocktails are nothing like lobster tails. Lemmie and Sophilia were so hungry after a few cocktails, they walked back to the river, harvested a bunch of crawdads and had a boil.

The island of Porto Santo really is a gift that keeps on giving. That morning, it gave me a new way to appreciate the sunrise — a kind of impressionist vision of the sky reflected on a mirror of wet sand beneath my feet. It just goes to show that sometimes you can find a beautiful moment of stillness if you dare to look away from the most obvious places. On that note, see you next time, Porto Santo! I hope to return soon and rediscover you once again :)

A ilha de Porto Santo é realmente um presente que nunca acaba. Naquela manhã, proporcionou-me uma nova forma de apreciar o nascer do sol — uma espécie de visão impressionista do céu refletido num espelho de areia molhada sob os meus pés. Isto só demonstra que, por vezes, podemos encontrar um belo momento de tranquilidade se ousarmos desviar o olhar dos locais mais óbvios. E assim, até à próxima, Porto Santo! Espero regressar em breve e redescobrir-te mais uma vez :)

Je reprends un peu d'activité, parce qu'on me le demande depuis longtemps. Je manquais de photos assez motivantes à poster... Mais aujourd'hui, je n'ai plus aucune excuse ! Alors voilà cette photo prise l'été dernier, lors d'une petite randonnée vers les passerelles Himalayennes du Lac du Monteynard. C'est un coin fabuleux que je recommande à tout amoureux de la nature.
