At February’s Alphabet Fun:2017 Edition the letter of the day is “I” – for Impress!
The young girl was having a great time impressing the boys with her skills on the ice skating rink. I could not quite hear everything that was being said, but she was definitely poking at them and they were all having a lot of fun. Photographed at the Brenton Skating Plaza in downtown Des Moines, Iowa.

I made a lot of different shots at this place. Most without people on it at all, but I like this one with the person on it as it shows the majestic size of the rocks better.

These were taken a couple of days ago, I noticed these two small spiders dancing on a leaf, the male was waving his palps and dancing, I hope she liked him
I am so looking forward to going to my husbands charity event later this evening. He will be making an important speech before we sit down to a formal dinner which is then followed by an auction to raise money. He asked me to make an extra effort for the event as he does like to show me off and, if I'm honest, I don't mind the attention myself. So I thought it was time for my gold cocktail dress to come out along with my matching heels, I do hope to impress.
Our last night in Prague. I was so impressed with this city, Very clean, safe, beautiful and historic. So much to see and do.. Don't skip it.
General Grievous' attempt to become more imposing by splitting his arms into more and more lightsaber-wielding limbs started to loose its effect after a while.
As soon as I saw this lovely lurcher (whippet x saluki) at the village fete today I knew he had to be my photo for the neckwear theme in 118 pictures. Chester was gazing adoringly at his owner - who happened to be eating a burger!

Une oeuvre HORIZONS SANCY, passée.
Peut-être le roi de ce petit peuple.
Il est altier, élégant, silencieux et semble donner le ton de cette fabuleuse exposition, vivante émouvante et insolite.
Un joli voyage imaginaire au pays d'une certaine réalité.
Déambuler dans cet espace magique, de bout du monde, procure un plaisir inouï.
J'espère que vous l'aurez un peu vécu, tout comme je l'ai fait.
Les oeuvres HORIZONS sont toutes intéressantes, elles ont chacune un certain intérêt.
Surtout, les endroits choisis sont si beaux, que l'oeuvre éventuellement moyenne, ne déçoit pas car elle a été faite pour communier avec l'espace où elle se trouve ,le temps d'un été merveilleux à vivre, vraiment.
Je me suis laissée dire que des gens viennent de loin pour les voir, en faisant d'elles le motif de leur vacances. Ils les visitent toutes.
Nous on les adore, autant le Sancy munificent, infiniment attachant et toujours surprenant dans sa variété.
L'Auvergne dans son ensemble est un pays de rêve.
Et les artistes internationaux, il faut ce qu'il faut, l'ont compris en mettant leur point d'orgue sur le Sancy, un sommet de beauté cas de le dire, avec ses montagnes pures, nobles, ses campagnes préservées, ses bois reposants, ses lacs sublimes.
Venez, si vous le pouvez, à ce festival, car il le vaut bien.

Le Palazzo Tetta ressemble à la proue d'un bateau, s'avançant fièrement entre les rii de San Giovanni Laterano et celui de la Tetta. Sans les deux ponts qui "l'accrochent" aux rives en lui dessinant deux petits bras (le pont de l'Ospealeto à gauche et celui de la Tetta à droite) l'illusion serait parfaite !
