i thought i wouldn't have time this week to participate in illustration friday, so i just did this quick sketch at work yesterday. (too quick to spell impossible correctly!) when i hear "impossible" i always think of this sark quote.
Note that Bruce is actually sitting in a no-smoking area outdoors in Tokyo's Roppongi Hills. Impossible is Nothing!

Impossible Breakfast Pie 030
This is a painting of an event that is physically impossible, like an apple falling upwards. My mind and my heart never seem to agree with each other.... And a perfect ballance? Impossible.

One of my first attempts with PX 100 Silver Shade instant film by the Impossible Project (with an SX-70).
It almost looks as if this was shot with a pinhole camera. At least this image is sharp - my other attempts were everything but in focus.

The port is used to deliver cement produced by Holcim and Indocement to their inter island market. Today was mostly Indocement shipment and the dust were unbelievable. I feel bad that this guy has to sweep the road while the dust kept coming.
The people at Impossible Project held a open house and I was invited to join the tour of the factory. The place once employed 1200 people at the hight of the Polaroid days. Now just 36 people are the Impossible Project. All of them passionate, dedicated and giving their all to keep us Polaroid camera users happy with film. Daunting task and after the visit I have nothing but respect for people achieving the impossible.

Amanda's giant box of Impossible Project film came in today! She got 120 rolls of their own Polaroid film FOR FREE to use in conjunction with her sweet blog, Impossibly Expired. She'll send most of the film off to her internet friends, who will take pics and send them back to her. It's really a cool deal.
Tonight, I got an email from Tesla! It's finally time to schedule my delivery. This is nuts!! Apparently my delivery window is between Dec. 15th and the 30th. BUT since we'll be on vacation the last week of the year, I'm betting on an early January delivery. I'M FREAKING OUT.
