Grey is a big bold protector, but also a couch cuddler.
Trying out some locations today now that the OLE has made many impossible. This is the 6M91 11.10 Theale Lafarge to Hope Earles Sidings empty cement tanks near Newton Harcourt
Yet here they are! What on earth would make tree branches grow in these seemingly-impossible gravity-defying ways. I’m sure some knowledgeable arborealists would have some interesting theories about it, but I’m stumped.
Favourite novel? What an impossible choice! I've chosen this one because I love Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's writing and feel she's an absolute inspiration to girls and women of all colours and backgrounds. This was a heart wrenching read, but one that also taught me a lot about Nigeria, where both my father and aunt lived in the 60s and my husband in the 70s.
I would have liked to put a little more thought into showing the themes of the novel in this shot, as well as referencing the title, but in fact I had already photographed a set up for a book of poetry before I double checked the MM discussion thread and found it wasn't allowed. Maybe I'll post that one tomorrow!
Day 2, Photo 2 of Polaroidweek: This triptych was an alternative option on the 12:12 Men Project theme of Impossible for March.
. . . This is the highest point I was able to get to in Zion National Park. It was on the Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway just above the 1.1 mile tunnel (through solid rock), looking west towards the Zion Valley.
The scale of the mountains is so large, that you feel like an ant crawling through!

I now know that it is impossible to bend a soda bottle by putting it in my coal fired boiler.
As I was walking around this lake toward one of the shaded seating areas, I looked up and saw all these Canada Geese headed right in my direction at warp speed!
Uh, Oh! This might not be a good thing. No doubt they are expecting a handout of some kind and that is definitely one thing I don't do - feed animals out in the wild.
The only exception would be at a place where the management provides those machines where you get a handful of kibble for a quarter. And this is NOT one of those places.
