"We are impossible but here here we are, being impossible together and leaving the possible for another day. And let me tell you, mademoiselle, that you with your sense of humor and your wonderful presence have captivated me from the first smile you gave me. I do not worry about future because I have learned that what has to be, will be, and there is nothing to do, but that doesn't stop me confessing that my heart has it there with you in the clouds."

"Somos imposibles pero aquí estamos, siendo imposibles juntos y dejando lo posible para otro día. Y déjame decirte, señorita, que tú con tu sentido del humor y tu maravillosa presencia me has cautivado desde la primera sonrisa que me regalaste. No me preocupa el futuro pues he aprendido que lo que tenga que ser, será, y no hay nada que hacerle, pero eso no me impide confesarte que mi corazón lo tienes allí contigo en las nubes."

Unfortunately it wasn't a Polaroid Week as I had imagined, I was only able to upload three pictures...
On the one hand that makes me sad because I wasn't able to participate as much as I would have liked. On the other hand, I am so happy to see what wonderful artwork the community has put together again this week. So far I've only had time to look through the favourites folders for each day. But I will definitely take the time in the next few weeks to spend much more time in the pool - it won't be the same as during the week, but it's still an opportunity for me to take part afterwards.
I'm already really looking forward to the autumn week.
Many thanks to everyone who makes Polaroid Week the wonderful event that it is!!!
P.S. I wasn't really expecting that much when I put the impossible colour bruch film in my camera recently. But i was so excited when i saw the result, a true monet of instant happiness. those moments are what make polaroid magic for me...

When the wind draws waves on the sand, they always have the same direction and parallelism. If the wind changes direction, the waves do too but, what would happen if two winds blew in opposite directions? What would be the result of the drawing on the sand? Crossed surreal waves created by double exposure

Some local wildflowers, arranged with the help of Photoshop into a bouquet. A Sliders Sunday submission, where over-processing is encouraged.
I photographed this beautiful flower last week on the deck of some friends who are serious flower growers.
Lighting stuff: Lit with a Yongnuo manual flash in an 8.6 inch Lastolite soft box positioned at camera left and just out of the frame. Fill light came from a hand mirror at camera right. The flash, and my tripod mounted camera were triggered with a Yongnuo RF-603N.
Other plants, flowers, fruit or thingys that I've photographed using strobes can be seen in my Strobe Lit Plant set. For each image in the set, and there are over 1800 of them, I describe how I set up the lighting for that particular shot. www.flickr.com/photos/9422878@N08/sets/72157628079460544/
I'm not a "yoga girl"….even if I could find it interesting … but I think this should be the butterfly pose….
And I noticed it after taking this shot…just to show my impossible socks…
Yes, they are real but they are not allowed: not enough black for me!
So I wore them just to take this shot…. I love butterflies and I forgot I had those butterflied socks!
I took them off just in time not to get burned…
Colors and me…. Like holy water and devil! :D
Lassie was sleeping in her bed, careless about colors and butterflies….she is not altogether wrong, but she sure knows how crazy I am!!
Happy Butterflied Sunday my dear Frinds!

This was several nights work made up from four photos, the pen, paintbrush, pencil and paper. The angles almost drove me around the bend.

Day 2, Photo 2 of Polaroidweek: This triptych was an alternative option on the 12:12 Men Project theme of Impossible for March.
While inside the cave at Cosy Corner in Tasmania I had a vision of a more interesting sight looking out to sea and imagined for a moment that I was looking out to Picnic Rock which is about 70 kms north.
Hello,
Not really active since a year, yes someone just turn 1 year old...hopefully I will have more chance to catch sun...One day or the other.
Little drive around to get the baby to sleep, I compose this image later in PS, in this is fake, impossible, this mountain is not behind this barn, this fence is not that close to the bard...etc... Made from 3 different image.

There is even a bus stop (A375) under the tree for you :-) (Paddington suburb of Brisbane)
Have to say, it is unusual shape for Guapuruvu, as usual it is tall and straight, as on the photo below.
Info about this tree
Guapuruvu (Portuguese common name) is a magnificent, fast growing ornamental tall tree from tropical forests zones of the American Atlantic coast.
Botanical name: Schizolobium parahyba
Fabaceae / Caesalpiniaceae family
(There is Parahyba River in Brazil)
Other common names: Brazilian fern tree, Tower tree, Guapiruvu, Ficheira, Guanacaxtle
It is deciduous. Flowers come first early spring, then fern-like leaves,
