Mi sono innamorata

delle mie stesse ali d'angelo,

delle mie nari che succhiano la notte,

mi sono innamorata di me

e dei miei tormenti.

Un erpice che scava dentro le cose,

o forse fatta donzella

ho perso le mie sembianze.

Come sei nudo, amore,

nudo e senza difesa:

io sono la vera cetra

che ti colpisce nel petto

e ti da larga resa.

Mission Impossible.

A herd of Rooibok come to drink water. Then, in a split second, a calm and peaceful scene turned into absolute chaos. They climb up an almost impossibly steep river bank.

My goal was to capture the chaos during the event.

"L'impossible" TH 5x5.

They tried to guide it.

To gather it.

To make it behave.

But some things don’t follow rules.

Some moments don’t slow down.

And some chaos…

was already decided.

Unfortunately it wasn't a Polaroid Week as I had imagined, I was only able to upload three pictures...

On the one hand that makes me sad because I wasn't able to participate as much as I would have liked. On the other hand, I am so happy to see what wonderful artwork the community has put together again this week. So far I've only had time to look through the favourites folders for each day. But I will definitely take the time in the next few weeks to spend much more time in the pool - it won't be the same as during the week, but it's still an opportunity for me to take part afterwards.

I'm already really looking forward to the autumn week.

Many thanks to everyone who makes Polaroid Week the wonderful event that it is!!!

P.S. I wasn't really expecting that much when I put the impossible colour bruch film in my camera recently. But i was so excited when i saw the result, a true monet of instant happiness. those moments are what make polaroid magic for me...

If you believe in your dreams strong enough, the impossible becomes possible. One year ago, I was wondering if I would be able to dance again. I am still working hard and have moments of doubts, but on Saturday I danced on stage again and it felt wonderful.

(This is not my group, obviously, since I cannot take pictures of my own group while dancing!)

A photo shoot at the Illinois Railway Museum in 2010 featured the Chicago and North Western and their restored F7 411, GP7R 4160 and SD40-2 6847.

Union Pacific provided their CNW Heritage SD70ACe 1995 and CNW C44-9W 8701.

In the years since, Union Pacific has repainted the 8701 into their corporate colors and the IRM has repainted GP7R 4160 back into its Rock Island paint.

Thunderstorm as it approaches great lake superior-

It was colorful around the Linn Cove Viaduct today. I had to wait in a line to get up to the rock where this photo was taken. Probably a few hundred other people will have taken this shot, what I did that probably cannot be duplicated is to take 2 back to back 5 shot brackets without catching a vehicle. I was there around 10 and the traffic was horrible and getting worse by the minute.

"We are impossible but here here we are, being impossible together and leaving the possible for another day. And let me tell you, mademoiselle, that you with your sense of humor and your wonderful presence have captivated me from the first smile you gave me. I do not worry about future because I have learned that what has to be, will be, and there is nothing to do, but that doesn't stop me confessing that my heart has it there with you in the clouds."

"Somos imposibles pero aquí estamos, siendo imposibles juntos y dejando lo posible para otro día. Y déjame decirte, señorita, que tú con tu sentido del humor y tu maravillosa presencia me has cautivado desde la primera sonrisa que me regalaste. No me preocupa el futuro pues he aprendido que lo que tenga que ser, será, y no hay nada que hacerle, pero eso no me impide confesarte que mi corazón lo tienes allí contigo en las nubes."

Driving across the deep desert in the middle of an impossibly hot day.

Outtake from the "Outside the Lines" exhibit at the Impossible Project NYC studio. Impossible PX680ff film.

Getting myself in an impossible situation in a Seaworld centre. I knew that there may be sharks but I'm more afraid of pirhanna. I shouldn't have got in the tank with them! A composite of four of my photos.

I photographed this beautiful flower last week on the deck of some friends who are serious flower growers.

Lighting stuff: Lit with a Yongnuo manual flash in an 8.6 inch Lastolite soft box positioned at camera left and just out of the frame. Fill light came from a hand mirror at camera right. The flash, and my tripod mounted camera were triggered with a Yongnuo RF-603N.

Other plants, flowers, fruit or thingys that I've photographed using strobes can be seen in my Strobe Lit Plant set. For each image in the set, and there are over 1800 of them, I describe how I set up the lighting for that particular shot. www.flickr.com/photos/9422878@N08/sets/72157628079460544/

I'm not a "yoga girl"….even if I could find it interesting … but I think this should be the butterfly pose….

And I noticed it after taking this shot…just to show my impossible socks…

Yes, they are real but they are not allowed: not enough black for me!

So I wore them just to take this shot…. I love butterflies and I forgot I had those butterflied socks!

I took them off just in time not to get burned…

Colors and me…. Like holy water and devil! :D

Lassie was sleeping in her bed, careless about colors and butterflies….she is not altogether wrong, but she sure knows how crazy I am!!

Happy Butterflied Sunday my dear Frinds!

What a dream to try the new film... I hope everyone supports this absolutely absurd and brilliant mission to the hilt.

Shot some portraits for the german actor Hannes Lindenblatt this past weekend in Treptower Park. Afterwards, we went to the russian monument and did some fun action shots.

I somehow captured him at the pinnacle of his jump with my Canon 20D!

Looks unreal, doesn´t it?

Yet here they are! What on earth would make tree branches grow in these seemingly-impossible gravity-defying ways. I’m sure some knowledgeable arborealists would have some interesting theories about it, but I’m stumped.
