"Beautiful" and "cute" are somewhat related concepts, but it's certainly possible to be one and not the other. Usually, Allie falls much more in the "beautiful" range. But, THIS shot . . . . . Both.

Honestly, I find this film to be quite frustrating, and it didn't help that my camera kept jamming, which resulted in my losing my last three ATZ shots and the first 3 colorshade shots.
I think I'll be sticking with the silvershade for a while...
Senter falls is on full blast thanks to all the recent rain. Amazing to see it like this in autumn and I'm glad Melissa could see it in all its glory. This is the top of the gorge and the largest series of falls.

When the view is so fantastic, one just CAN'T drive on. Photo stops are needed every 5 minutes, or less. The only reason why we reached our destination (and were therefore able to sleep in beds) is because it got dark. Then we could drive on!

So today I went out and cosplayed as Clara Oswald in honor of Matt Smith's departure from Doctor Who.
It's not perfect, but I'm pretty proud of it.
Anyway, I'm sorry to see Eleven go, but he will always be my Doctor, and I cannot wait for Capaldi.

Valiant effort on the part of my Cotton rose, but Jack Frost had other ideas. Impossible to bloom after the cold nights. I have always loved plants in all stages of their lives. To me, it is nature's art.

Wow! You guys are awesome - thank you so much. I can't even believe it... After the book was released, it almost immediately sold out on Amazon in the UK (My UK friends are cuuurazy), then Canada, and now in the USA Amazon store. It's really crazy to sell out on Amazon - so I hardly have enough words to thank you!
Daily Photo - The Temple Deep in the Caves
Borneo is known for its amazing limestone caves. Just on the other side, over in West Malaysia, there are a ton of the same strange cave structures that twist and turn in unexpected ways through old mountains. This one is called the Batu Caves, and if you walk through it long enough, you end up in the very center of the mountain, where an opening appears high overhead. Deep in this innermost sanctuary lies this unique Hindu Temple.
Some of you may remember that old woman who has never cut her hair (2nd photo below), walking up the stairs to visit the temple every day. I've never posted a photo of her final destination until now.
