Comprehensive national implementing legislation plays critical role in upholding CWC and countering the re-emergence of chemical weapons
A prefeita Marília Campos participou na manhã desta sexta-feira (04/6), na Praça da Jabuticaba, do lançamento do projeto “Rio da Minha Vida”, uma das ações que integram o Programa Cuidar que a Secretaria de Meio Ambiente e Desenvolvimento Sustentável (Semad) está implementando no município. A iniciativa é mais uma das atividades desenvolvidas pela Semad na Semana do Meio Ambiente.
Além da recuperação do córrego localizado na praça, a prefeita Marília Campos anunciou que a Praça da Jabuticaba também passará por um projeto de revitalização e será o primeiro projeto construído com a comunidade. “Vamos terminar as obras aqui da praça da Jabuticaba para que jovens, idosos, crianças tenham um espaço do lazer, com acesso à cultura. E nesse córrego que não tinha nome, mas que a partir de agora se chamará Córrego da Jabuticaba, vamos fazer um grande corredor, um parque linear para que além de ser belo, tenhamos mais segurança e mais desenvolvimento”, afirmou Marília.
Em um ato simbólico em homenagem ao dia do meio ambiente, comemorado no dia 5 de junho, a prefeita plantou uma muda de jabuticabeira, fruta símbolo de Contagem. “Na semana do meio ambiente fazemos várias ações para fazermos daqui uma cidade mais agradável, com o ar mais agradável, um lugar melhor para viver. As nossas praças são espaços onde as pessoas se encontram e todo espaço que é revitalizado, além de ser um espaço agradável de convivência, também estimula o desenvolvimento econômico e é isso que queremos para Contagem”, pontuou.
A chefe do executivo solicitou que uma comissão da praça fosse organizada para que, com a administração municipal, tenha um papel fundamental na manutenção e conservação das intervenções no local.
Rio da Minha Vida
O Rio da Minha Vida terá participação da comunidade no processo de recuperação, proteção e gestão dos recursos hídricos, incentivando o cuidado com a água a partir das suas histórias e memórias, individuais e coletivas. “As cidades foram formadas aonde tinham águas, as civilizações foram construídas perto da água, e ao longo do tempo essa água foi ficando suja, com mau cheiro e nós fomos nos afastando. E hoje queremos quebrar esse histórico, queremos integrar os córregos nos ambientes urbanos, trazer os córregos para nosso convívio’, afirmou a secretaria de Meio ambiente, Maria Thereza Camisão.
Para a superintendente de políticas ambientais, Sirlene de Almeida, a participação da comunidade será de grande relevância nesse projeto. “Nosso objetivo é envolver a população para que ela saiba a importância da participação social na preservação dos cursos d’água e na revitalização da Praça da Jabuticaba. Contagem vai dar o exemplo na valorização das nascentes e córregos convivendo com as pessoas em condições naturais”, disse.
Moradora da regional Sede há mais de 40 anos, Maria de Fátima comemorou as novidades. “Esse projeto vai melhorar ainda mais nossa qualidade de vida. Moro há muitos anos aqui e vi o descaso que esse lugar sofria, agora graças à nossa prefeita Marília Campos vamos ter um espaço melhor, mais seguro tanto para nós moradores, quanto para quem vem aqui ter um pouco de lazer com sua família e amigos. É uma ideia que já está agradando a todos nós”, contou emocionada.
O presidente da Associação de Moradores do bairro Central Park (Amopark), Juraci Ávila, também acompanhou o lançamento do projeto. “Este momento para nós é histórico, temos um belíssimo espaço, que infelizmente nas gestões passadas não foi dado o devido cuidado e atenção. Com esse projeto teremos o resgaste do meio ambiente, da natureza e, como a prefeita disse, na medida que isso for acontecendo, vamos ter o retorno da comunidade, dos comércios do entorno, pois o que estamos plantando aqui não é apenas para nós, mas também para nossas gerações futuras que vão colher os frutos dessa iniciativa”, relatou.

All of the buildingSMART Chapters from around the world are expected to be represented, providing an opportunity for experts to share knowledge for further enhancement of buildingSMART’s openBIM processes and standards. There will be plenary sessions presenting information about the most recent standards, processes, tools and projects, as well as the main schedule of working sessions dealing with key themes.
