Interior Sindh is still facing the issue of water scarcity and Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is seeking to improve the situation by implementation of different water projects like small hand pumps, submersible water pump in this effected area. In such a similar effort, we have implemented a new small hand pump at Village Donjh Jibran Haider, District Sanghar. This water project is expected to provide clean and pure water for drinking and domestic usage to almost 22 families living in this area.

Addressing climate change requires advanced low-carbon energy technologies. At the Paris Climate Change Conference, twenty countries including China and the United States, agreed to double funding for research and development of clean energy technologies by 2020. Dubbed “Mission Innovation,” their pledge was supported by the “The Breakthrough Energy Coalition” of 27 billionaires committing to invest patient, flexible risk capital for projects which will provide the economic proof points necessary for the mainstream market-driven clean energy economy required for our planetary future.
A crucial aspect of Mission Innovation will be international coordination, as countries navigate incentives to cooperate and fight climate change as well as those to compete for national returns on public investments.
In this seminar, Dr. Varun Sivaram will articulate the major objectives of international partnerships to invest in clean energy technology, review recent progress—especially between the United States and China—and make recommendations for how the world can best leverage the political will displayed in Paris.

Testing the latest flickr toy from fd, specifically a simple little flickr image uploader for Linux+Gnome. Seems to work very well, basically on par with the simple email script I tend to use but also providing easy support for drag and drop on the desktop.

Have the last several years been spent raising kids? Is it time to focus on bettering yourself? College could be the right choice for you. Consider the following suggestions if you are ready to do something for yourself. You certainly deserve a chance to strut your stuff.
Apply to scholarships and other grants early. You won't have to borrow as much money if you get your finances in order earlier. Establish a sound deadline tracking system so that you never miss an important date.
Many colleges offer courses in study skills, so take advantage of the offering. A lot of students get high grades without trying very hard in high school so they need help figuring out how to effectively study to do well in college. If you know how to study, you will do better in class.
Gather your funding for your education by learning about and applying for all applicable grants and scholarships. There are a lot of different scholarships, some for specific majors. They may also apply to certain interests, like music, or personal characteristics. The government provides a variety of grants which they don't expect you to repay.
Bring all necessary test materials with you on test day. Forgetting simple things such as calculators, notes or other tools, can reduce your success with the test and heighten your worries. Usually, the teacher won't have extra, so bringing your own is crucial.
Balance your class load with classes you need along with at least one elective that you enjoy. Consider taking a dreaded class to get it over with, rather than have it hang over your head and dreading it. That will ensure you aren't a senior alone in a class of freshmen.
When your classes begin, you have to get acquainted with your instructors. Find out where your professor's offices are located. Also, get their contact information so you can communicate with them. You need a good relationship with your professors for many reasons.

AF and 20 of its national implementing entities visited Indonesia and host Kemitraan as part of a country exchange that included a visit to the AF-funded project in Pekalongan implemented by Kemitraan. The project is developing novel interventions to adapt to sea rise, including mangrove restoration, wave deflection barriers and sustainable livelihoods.
