From a final wave of pink dahlias in my Mom's garden.. hosting sluggish bumblebees.
While tweakin' away, I chose, among other directions, to move into a toned black&white framed print look. The image was a bit soft in places, and the petal's tonalities seemed suited for the fine silver printing papers 'of old' (like.. maybe 12 years ago? lol). Once I was headed in that direction, I went for it, applying creative "matting and framing".

A selection of a Gorria Mask made with Photoshop. The picture of the Gorilla mask was taken at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
Thanks to the inspiration of av_ producer, I had the fun of trying to play with an image to create a mood like I experienced there at sunset at Manhattan Beach, California. Had no tripod for the shot and the camera was the one with little zoom, but the colors were fun here. I used Photoshop with channels, levels, hue saturation, curves, something that was in filters>other>maximum (whatever that is) and then finished with "accented edges". It was fun play with the original image and creates the memory.
A small photoshop project I did just to test out new techniques and tools. Here I gave myself some camouflage face paint and a nice reflection in my sunglasses. I should have removed the beard though!

I Am using the basic wondrous polar coordinates transformations as beautiful in and of themselves, but also as starting points for grounding them in their origins and/or creating new relationships for them.
Recently, I was honored by Wacom Technology, the world's leading manufacturer of interactive pen displays and tablets, to be one of several international artists featured on their new "Get Inspired" web site! My profile is currently being showcased as well as some of my digital art and photography pieces ["Adventures of Shamus" series]. In addition, I was filmed at my home as part of the promo video (no fat jokes please :) I am providing a link to my new Wacom profile and a link to my blog post about my entire experience. I hope this may serve as an inspiration to others in the art world.

An interesting pattern emerged from a rock after a storm. It took only a little work to bring it out. Everyone sees the Virgin Mary, or Christ in anything. I thought to give it the name it has would help demonstrate that if you try, especially if biased, can show you anything.

These two ducks, Blue Wing Teals, I believe they are.... yes it's two.. were, of course, categorically ignoring the lot of us, during a walkabout in the NC Zoo by a small cadre of the Raleigh flickr group.
I edited in Photoshop, but only the ground was cleaned and color enhanced.. the birds are pretty much the correct color.
