Single shot with Rollei 35 and xtremegrain bulk Technous 400 35mm film in Chicago lakeshore by Navy Pier. No repeates, no multiple shots to determine best. One Shot One Frame. Black and white bulk. Kept all imperfections of the natural film and shown is the record coatings behavior with overexposed and light streaking areas. It was developed by OldSchoolLab photosmith specialists in New Hampshire. Followed the camera's metering, that yes, still works. This is a shot I took in Prague back in 2018. I was not very happy with the original shot as there were a lot of distractive elements. mainly cars.
But I was able to easily remove them thanks to the latest version of Photoshop.
I also added the reflective water puddles. as well as the smoke/fog.
I also changed the color grading to make it look more cinematic.
My granddaughter Savannah is 6 now, she loves walking with Bella. This is a fairly new bridge in Tintern Woods. Original image slid a little with Prisma's "Surf" filter HSS! She's heading home tomorrow so Nana might get a little time to catch up on Flickr 😂

Composite starting from a Hong Kong view, to which I added multiple industrial elements and buildings. The gritty look and mood comes from BorisFX Optics.
Each image in this composition was taken by me at the same intersection in downtown Charlottesville, Virginia. They seemed to lend themselves to an overall image of the constant pedestrian crossing traffic at this intersection.

MEET WYATT! I volunteer with Central Texas Dachshund Rescue as a foster parent. I was asked to photograph the dogs for the 2009 Rescue Calendar and it was a huge success! Wyatt was chosen to be Mr. September. He was our foster dog for many months. He is a beautiful brindle dachshund. We love getting to know these little guys and helping them gain their confidence and feel safe in the world.

Kirkjufellfoss with Kirkjufell in the background. All in all we spent about 3 hours on this spot.. The first day we arrived at the spot it was very cloudy. The advantage of bad weather is that you're alone. On the second day, which was a nice day with temperatures around 15 degree celcius, there were more people visiting the spot. One of the visitors was a family with four children and you surely can image that they could not stay still for a second. They were running up and down and into the water all the time and you really can't take any pictures then.. In such situation it really pays out to have some time, relax at the spot and wait for the other guys to leave.. :-)
After all the praises for #niksoftware I was going to give it a try and I like the outcome.. Have not tried any color image manipulation yet but surely will do during the trial period.. This one is b/w tone mapping on a single shot.. I begin to like those kind of shots..
