I was trying to compose an image of a sunflower that hasn't been done to death. This is what I came up with.
Taken with a Polaroid SX-70 camera on Time Zero film, the emulsion was then manipulated by hand to achieve a more impressionistic appearance.
Just started to use my 'black' MacBook for image manipulation and I hadn't quite got the hang of image importing when I brought in this one and the previous two posts... hence the small file size - little more than a big thumbnail. Now I've cracked it.....
This is part of a demo of how I do conversion of a normal photo to 3D.

A digital artwork piece composed of custom created graphics, personal, found and stock images.
The camera captures a mirror image but that image can be distorted/altered. What we see now, in any image isn't necessarily correct. Fashion and beauty magazines take this to the extremes.
This design was a personal piece to be used as an iPhone case cover.
These images all started as pictures of some actual object, scene or whatever, but have been played with in Photo Shop in various ways. In some you might recognize the original subject matter, in many they bear little resemblance to what they started as. I love hearing what different people see in these almost as much as I love making them, so fire away--tell me what you see or feel about them!
