Antwerp Zoo (Dutch: ZOO Antwerpen) is a zoo in the centre of Antwerp, Belgium, located next to the Antwerpen-Centraal railway station. It is the oldest animal park in the country, and one of the oldest in the world, established on 21 July 1843.
It has been a very long time since I've seen a moc and was so impressed that I wanted to build it myself, but Carl Greatrix's Caterham is such a beautiful model I had to give it a try. It's such a clever design and I hope it gets enough votes on Lego ideas to be proposed as a set. PLEASE vote for it here: ideas.lego.com/projects/87703
I'm kinda impatient though, and this is the perfect desk model so lets hope I can find all the pieces on BL

This picture was taken back in 24 September 2015 while i had an idea comes along to do a sketches for a long range artillery mecha earlier that day. So after work I went down to Changi Airport at terminal 3 for a nice and quite relaxation at a cafe sort of restaurant. I bring along a recycle paper and start to scribble the idea i had in my mind with existing part of lego that will eventually help to build my mecha into a reality. I believe that If you already know the shape of the design i.e the slope or and connected parts it will help a lot. And compare to the real end product i hope you guys would be happy with my process.

I tried to make it the splitting image of a original shuttle with as many details as possible, so I think you would like it's looking or even can play with it ;)

I made this idea Notebook for Ornament Thursday. This month's theme is "Sprout". OK, how does mine exactly reflect that? Well, I think the word sprout was chosen to represent spring and new life and a new beginning. I figure, with the weather being nicer and the season being a new and fresh change, it is time to "sprout" with new ideas and keep them organized. I hope this doesn't sound like too much of a stretch....geez. I just didn't want to do the typical flower project or green/spring project cause that's not really me.
I'm really proud of this. I feel like it is a true reflection of me and my sensibilities. I love, love, love neon...always have (since making bookmarks for kids in 3rd grade on neon paper my parents had at their office and selling them for 10¢ a piece) and I love the pop art/posterized feel of the photo. I actually used to take markers to photocopies as a kid...as shown here...

It is hard for me to do this sometime...figure out truly who I am. Working as a designer in many different facets, I have to design for others and their sensibilities. Sometimes you get lost a bit in the shuffle. This feels good.

What do you think of this design for a pillow? The leaf would be pieced first somewhat "wonkily" and appliqued down to the pillow. The leaf would be made in the same colors that the colored border and what is white will be in a bunch of low volume prints (I just didn't want to spend that much time coloring in a basic sketch drawing). And the leaf would be a much nicer shape. This was made with my limited drawing skills on a computer.
These may or may not be your colors (don't want to give too much away), so don't focus on the colors as much as the pattern. Then again, if you really like the colors, I could be swayed.
For the quilting, I'd probably do a little echo quilting around the leaf and then some straight line quilting elsewhere to stick with the minimalistic/organic feel of this pillow.

One of the looks we shot last month was this one. We did a bunch of cool shots and were running out of ideas. I started looking around the studio for a prop... anything, really, to give her something with which to work. She left and came back with this mask and it worked out really nicely.
I wasn't sure what to do with these great images shot against a white backdrop so masked the model in CS5 and then layered in four or five layers of background textures in varying degrees of transparency. Again, unplanned and it still came together. I decided that mardi gras stock images could be my new thing. ;)

So I got a bit bored today and was fooling around on LDD and this is the result, my Tron OC IDEA in minifig form. I also included a Light Cycle which is the part of this build that I am most proud of. The design for which can be found here: [link] I did have to make some tweaks to make it work in LDD as compared to with physical Lego but I believe it turned out all right.
Revision: IDEA's light cycle is a modified version of the light cycles currently on the Grid, meant to give the security program an edge in combat. His cycle is equipped with a pair of boosters on the sides near the back wheel allowing for unassisted jumps, barrel rolls and short bursts of increased speed.

Goofing off with an idea I’ve had for a long time about Tatyana and Dominique being mortal enemies.
Foes, if you will.
Similar to each other, but total opposites. On opposing sides in a struggle, not for the ultimate domination of good verses evil, but to maintain the shades of grey between evil and good to maintain the balance of the universe on a microcosmic scale.
I like mixing metaphors and symbolism, so while Tatyana represents the ultimate evil she is the one the light is shining on more fully. Her symbol, the unicorn, normally represents purity, innocence, and goodness; this unicorn is tarnished and dull and wielded as a weapon by Tatyana represents a purity of evil.
Dominique is surrounded by more color and variety even if she isn’t bathed in light. Often goodness thrives in the shadows, and that is sortof Dominique’s M.O. as a secret agent.
The polished and bright Pegasus as Dominique’s icon represents true freedom and power with “polished” or pure intentions, along with the balance and stability normally represented by a Pegasus.
I think it may be the beginning of a series :-)
