The fires have burnt away the old and left room for the new growth.

It had been years since we had driven to the top of Canfield Mountain, so we decided to grab our cameras and take an evening ride on the ATV. It was a beautiful evening!

An apocalyptic view of the new Prospect Valley - a subdivision under construction right now.

I enjoyed doing some macro photography the other day out at our cabin. These are some of my favorite daffodils to photograph.

Warmth and heat trickling down the canal from the sun to the city.

Frozen machinery standing out in an empty field.

A sugar board, also known as a candy board, that is used as a food source when your honey bees need winter food. Honey bees need plenty of honey to get through the cold winter months. They have ample food sources during the warm months but rely on their stores of honey in the winter. When they don’t have enough honey stores, honey bees can starve to death. A sugar board is a simple solution to keep your bees thriving until the weather warms up. Sugar boards consist of a frame, hardware cloth, sugar and an entrance hole for your honey bees. The candy board is installed on top of the beehive.

The Born Lakes are a chain of eleven alpine and glacial Paternoster lakes in Custer County, Idaho, United States, located in the White Cloud Wilderness. The White Clouds were given their name by early settlers because many of these skyward soaring pale peaks seem to blend together with the clouds above, making it hard to tell where mountains stop and clouds begin. The White Clouds lie near the center of Idaho, entirely within the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. In the heart of the range there are over 90,000 acres of amazing terrain that became protected as The White Clouds Wilderness in 2015
