Selene és una escultura creada el 1929 per l'escultor Joan Borrell i Nicolau. Aquesta escultura formava part de la Font de l'Aurora, un conjunt escultòric originalment situat als Jardinets de Gràcia. Aquell conjunt escultòric va ser desmuntat i molts elements van acabar repartits per diversos espais de la ciutat (Turó Park, Avinguda de Vallcarca, Passeig de Santa Madrona, plaça de Joaquim Folguera i el Zoo de Barcelona). Selene, representada per la figura d'una noia jove vestida amb una túnica i una cinta que li subjecta els cabells. L'any 2014 va ser instal·lada a l'Avinguda de Vallcarca sobre una base creada específicament per a la nova situació per Josep Peraire.

I will be posting this on find a grave group on Flickr and also on the website called findagrave.com. Maiden name appears to have been KEPLEY, but I noticed on a revisit to the cemetery on Nov. 23, 2007 that she is buried in the same plot area with a Rickard? Maiden she had maiden name of Rickard, first husband was a Kepley, or vice versa, and then she married Vollentine?

This gorgeous boy has been on my collefction since 2009. I found him by chance at a store once, and I couldn't restist getting him. He's super articulated and has all the weapons he had in the movies. He's so much fun to pose and he's sooo handsome!!
