The card box is now well under way after I cast up the complex settings for the two main stones.
The top section is for attaching to a belt. The two lugs will connect to this but can be folded away if the box is to be used in a more conventional "pocket" way.
I took my son here this morning so he could have some lab work done for his physician. While he went in for the blood-letting, I sat in my truck and sketched the building.
I've been thinking about having a photo blog for a long time and now i finally have one! Please check it out!
When he saw an American flag in one of the Christmas Movies he felt the need to stand up and say the Pledge of Allegiance...he learned the pledge in Kindergarten, so whenever he sees an American Flag, the Pledge ensues it's really cute...

QUITE A LOT TO SEE AT THE ORIGINAL SIZE
Blackpool is the world's biggest building site.
I looked for a street where I couldn't see any building taking place, and found one.
The road was closed.
On Friday, June 5, 2015, nearly 3,000 Perspectives students, family members, staff, and community leaders held one of the largest student-led peace marches in the city's history. Groups came out to join the march from schools, churches, and businesses in Chicago, the suburbs, and cities from throughout the country.
Our students' voices are being heard: the march was featured on dozens of news outlets including Fox32, ABC7, CBS2, WGNTV, Univision Chicago and WBEZ Morning Shift...
We also had dozens of local leaders standing for peace with our students. Mayor Rahm Emanuel kicked off the peace march at 24th and speakers at our Peace Jam following the march included:
Razia, Janeya, & Maurice and Perspectives students and alumni
Tom Wilson, chairman and CEO of Allstate
Alderman Pat Dowell, 3rd Ward alderman
State Rep. Ken Dunkin, 5th District representative
Pastor James Meeks, Salem Baptist Church
Pastor Charles Jenkins, Fellowship Chicago
Matt McGill, WVON Radio Personality
FM Supreme, humanitarian rap artist
The march would not have been possible without the support of AAR Corp. chairman and CEO David Storch and Rags of Honor, who provided the "I Am For Peace" t-shirts for all 3,000 marchers, and Ice Mountain Water, which provided 3,000 bottles of water the marchers.
Thank you to everyone who came out to march with us, and to everyone in the Perspectives family who is standing for peace. Together, we can create a more peaceful Chicago--and a more peaceful world!

Ever wonder why you needed to learn math in school?
The answer is simple: to change the world. And that's exactly what you get to do in this game. Play as a cute Koala named Ace who loves fruit. Unfortunately a few delicious pieces of fruit are just out of reach, and you need to change the positions of the platforms to get to the fruit. You can change the platforms' positions by entering a math formula. There's no right or wrong answer - every formula you can come up with will have an effect on the world. Suddenly math becomes as fun as drawing.
There are many possible ways to finish a level, so be creative. Later levels feature enemies and traps to keep the game challenging. And while you're at it, you can collect stars for a better score.
I decided in the end to not repaint my really shoddy Midge head but rather restore her to the best of my abilities because her hair turned out much better than I thought. I also put her on a Liv body because it was a much easier conversion than doing so to a vintage male plus I think her face looks better on a less curvy body.
