NR46 and LDP009 are seen losing no time as they howl through the well known location of the Koolewong S bend - 3/12/2022
I took this photo one evening back in 2006 of a wolf statue in someone's yard. I lined it up with a moon-lit cloud and this was the result. I felt like posting it since all my early flickr posts were deleted and some of my newer contacts never saw them.
A new off-leash dog park at Sugg Farm in Holly Springs features a acre to run and play and dog-sized drinking fountains.

The "Howling Hornet", a speeder bike designed for fast movements and causing severe damage
After three hours... the wolves allowed me three minutes to make my photos.
I think that it is my 2nd best capture of the series of the wolves.
A sound of nature which gives us shiver...

There is an interesting Native American legend that tells the story about how these sea stacks were formed. This rock is said to be the howling dog. You can read about the legend here:

This picture is a composite of images that I shot in 2010 when I visited the beach last. The sky is from a HDR image, but the foreground (sea stacks and the beach) was processed from a single RAW Image. I thought ‘HDR clouds’ brought about lots of drama and vivid color.

"Howling Wolf Silhouette" by Patti Deters. Howling coyote, having a bad day or something, howling like crazy for a long time until he/she got tired of me and wandered off.
last nights super moon rising as the sun set .i left the houses in for scale and effect ,works for me anyway .560mm resting camera on a stone wall ,i tried walking down the road to get closer but it didn't work ,can't figure out why LOL

This was a great subject to draw. Long and short hair and plenty of light and dark areas. All good combinations for pen and ink.
