If you ever wondered how ASDA Supermarkets got their name, just look at the destination box on this former Southern National 1954 Bristol LS5G with ECW B41F body. It was photographed in Leeds Road, Wakefield in June 1976, returning to its Lofthouse base, after its daily afternoon staff bus run into Wakefield from an ASsociated DAiries factory.
At the moment I have a health disease and I'm not able to use a lot of MSC.. I had such a rough time painting his faceup due to my health problems... so I can't work on his tattoes yet..
but I do hope to recover soon, so I would be able to have them done.. can't wait.. This is how Akira looks in my story... He is a preesisting character on mine.. He's a Yakuza... he also has a Irezumi Dragon tattoo on his back..

I can't help it, sometimes it's almost aural, you can almost hear the light and how it breaks through the glass and gently rubs on the skin and clothing, making a gentle shhhh sound on the edge of silence...

It was so warm on Sunday, I washed both cars in the morning & went to the beach in the afternoon!

Yay for Cadbury Creme Eggs! I've been looking forward to this shoot all week but of course, had to spend my time on my uni work. I wrote almost a half of my Crusades essay this morning so that's good. I went shopping this afternoon and ran into one of my good friends from Timaru who was on the way to Hamner Springs with her hubby for their 4th wedding anniversary so that was cool. Apparently her husband had been planning the trip for just over a month and she only found out about it like, last week. How sweet is that?
Yay, I'm going away tomorrow afternoon after work! I can't wait. Time to take loads of photos =)

Since there is plenty of confusion about the triple head semaphores I figure I should clarify. The signal panel inside the station masters office shows the full track arrangement of the station. Each lower quadrant semaphore head is for one of the three station tracks which are manually controlled by the station master.
Many have asked me and I suppose I never got round to telling you what was the cause of Claudiney’s sudden and unexpected death only five months after his younger brother’s killing.
Causes…..? I have pondered on those ever since that dreaded afternoon almost five months ago. Who was responsible? Who is to blame? Why.......? Far too many why’s ???
Street kids don’t die that easily, you know. They quite often survive the perils that most human beings from any “normal” lifestyle would easily succumb to. Almost like cats with nine lives, they can afford to take risks and they do........
Why did Claudiney suddenly give up everything and everyone he believed was helping him to cope with Roney’s murder?
Why did Claudiney visit his brother’s tomb only three hours before his own death, leaving two fresh white roses there? Although according to the kids who were with him at the time, he did so every week since giving up everything. You see, he would never give up Roney. That he was sure about.
Why didn’t Claudiney stop running on seeing the heavy traffic on the main road, whilst the other two kids who were with him at the time did so? He had warned me several times before, that he might just find a way to be together with Roney again.
How? An accident......? They all said so, all but the kids who were together with him on that terrifying moment. Claudiney was far too wise and alert to be hit by a heavy truck........, unless he wanted to.
The driver’s insurance money paid for his burial and that was about all it paid for. I mean, he was only a street kid you know and who really cares about street kids in Brazil? Who cares about street kids anywhere?
Who cared about Claudiney’s painful experience of losing his brother?
We cared, but the system didn’t really care........
Who cared about Roney’s brutal murder?
We cared, but the system didn’t really want to know........, neither did the family. They were too frightened that Claudiney and others would meet the same terrifying death if they filed a case against the killers.
In the end, who really cared about Claudiney?
I suppose we did too, but that was against all the odds of a system that couldn’t really give a damn about street kids.
So who’s to blame? The system? But we are all part of that system..............
...and still we let this happen everyday, because there are Roney’s and Claudiney’s all over the world who only have a failing system to turn to.
At least these two had us who really cared........................, but that was obviously not enough!
Danbo explored Winkworth Arboretum in Surrey today. He climbed trees and pondered life's big, important, questions. It took him a long time, but he finally came to the conclusion that he needed more information. He really didn't know where to begin with 'How high?', but he thought half way up a tree was probably a good place to continue his deliberations. :)

Okay, you can file this under Why Does He Think I Care? This is the lineup every night at our house. It's how we get two big dogs into bed with us. We assume our positions and it's dreamland. Matt's in there sleeping under those rumpled covers. It's a king-size bed and despite how this looks, there's plenty of room for everyone. We could fit two cats if a certain someone would play along with that idea.
