Despite the heat and the winds, I had a lot of fun watching these dunes literally move through time. During my short visit to White Sands National Monument, I learned that there are four types of dunes: dome dunes, barchan dunes, transverse dunes, and parabolic dunes. Here, this crescent shaped barchan dune is starting to slump at the top as it moves forward under the impressive winds that often scour this landscape.

Inspired by [CK] I went out during lunch the other day and shot the area around my office. I never thought of it as being particulary interesting: too cold, shiny, new, man-made, etc. but I kinda like how this came out.

I just love the movie 'the devil wears Prada", mostly because I think Meryl Streep is just the best actress around. I have toyed around with the spanish word NADA and decided that it would be a great way to use in this title.

The creases and folds of the rocks seem surreal as if on another planet, while beyond these lay the flat baked badlands where many a death has probably occurred and the savage heat brought to bear upon those intrepid wagon trains of settlers looking for a new life beyond the arid oven like air the burns all the way down the chest.
Love the folds, undulations and contours of this almost alien landscape, I don't think I could tire of visiting this Valley

The intruder thought he was slick and he thought he took everybody, but me..if you look real close thats me with the knife...I followed his ass all the way to Columbia, now this is some real CSI shiznit...Im guessing he was using the Doe family for some sort of prostitution..how gay...but yeah. outside the house are barrels the kinds you see on big trucks, and I hear noise coming from there. but thank God he put them in the Warehouse...Tomorrow its time...I think Im going to finish him off..I have to get back to the states. Damn this Human Trafficking, and this family will not be next. Im worried about how we or I am going to end this. Oh man...big day tomorrow...This is worst than Im a celebrity get me outta here...copy out....(radio noise cshhhhhhhhhhhh)
Yes yes YES...my results came back from that test...I passed woot woot...(Woot.com)lol...no but yes..I passed. so now Im off to take the next 2 portions of the test whenever I get a phone call, and then I have another test to take with another agency on saturday...I love to stay incognito..haha...but for real I was excited.

Third day of 40plus Degree Celcius Temperatures. Oh, we've got a change coming over night, tomorrow will only be 38C.................... I'm so relieved!!!!!!!!!!!
And yes, I did lay down on a sweltering hot bitumen road in shorts & a T-Shirt. And yes it was bloody hot. I did it to testify to the lengths I'll go to for composition, or idiocy!

It’s been difficult getting into the Halloween mood this year. I think it’s because it’s been so uncomfortably hot. For example Michigan typically experiences our first frost around October 15th. Well it’s the the 8th and today’s temp is in the upper 80s. Today the U.N. released their report warning that global warming will only get worse if we can’t curb it within the next 12 years. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But if you haven’t heard this already then you’re not paying attention.
