With the lip snapped off, I now need to cut back the crochet hook to try to make a new head. I'll have to take it back to a thicker part of the shaft in order to get the head large enough.

Finally got to Bombay Hook for a bit. I'm starting to get spring fever early this year.
There is a red-tailed hawk in the trees to the left. I know it's a red-tailed because I drove closer and took photos, not good enough to post, just good enough to identify. There was a downy woodpecker just a fussin' and peckin' near him. Finally got on his nerves enough that he flew away.

Hook Head lighthouse, is the oldest operational lighthouse in the world. It's lighthouse tower, a 13th Century Norman structure, was built by the Earl of Pembroke as part of the development of his Lordship of Leinster. [LH118]
The eagle was coming in on approach for a fish and at the last minute changed its mind, hit the hooks, and veered off.
A found this trailer hook in a park last year and thought it was interesting. I've been holding onto it ever since, thinking I might want it someday. And guess what? Today, I did.
