A sign of old age.
These hooks are on the Hook and Loop (Velcro) straps that secure my Old Man trainers.
I can no longer bend down to tie laces.

Thank you in advance to all for your comments, invitations and faves always very appreciated
I took this in Sandy Hook, New Jersey on a Mid-March morning for
masochists and seagulls. It was cold but I am pleased with the result.
If you like walking in the nature, maybe with your dog, surely you hate the seedhead of this wild flower: its tiny hooks are really strong on fabric and dog's hair (I think they were the inspiration for Velcro tape) :-))
HMM
Macro Monday's and the theme of "Hook".
I missed last week and after a busy day I thought I was going to miss this week as well.
Eventually I found these small hooks that are probably used for small tasks like hanging a picture frame. I decided to try setting them up in a circular setup and this is what I came up with.
I had considered a white or black background and eventually I decided to use a piece of wood that I keep in the car for mounting a jack if ever I need to change a tyre.
The hook on the side ofthis stobie pole doesn't seem to be performing an electrical function. Is it?
This photo is of the Hook Head lighthouse, one of the oldest lightouses in the world. The existing lighthouse dates from the 12th century.
This is a the small hook you see in some plastic coat hangers. I used polarized light from a laptop screen and a polarizing filter in front of the lens to expose the colors from the plastic.
