This is my first carved hook. I carved it from a wooden dowel, using only a steak knife and some sanding paper. Crude, yes, but it was efficient enough for a first time. I plan on buying a dremel with specific attachments that will help to carve intricately.
the bird was in no obvious pain, but that fish hook is well embedded...(see larger)
