Are you as curious as I am about where the girl is looking?) Maybe her mom is calling her for lunch, or her younger brother asks if she has seen his track? Well, in general, I want to be in her place, just sit in this cozy courtyard and do my homework.

Wednesday is the last day of his exam week. He still has 7 exams to study for, so no fun this weekend ;)

That's me 60 years ago looking through a magnifying glass at an aerial photo for a Aerial Photo Interpretation class I was taking at the time.
The color in the original of this photo was atrocious, having been taken with daylight film under incandescent light, but it's one of the few shots I have of me during my college days, so I hung on to it. Now, between PSE and Topaz Studio, I've been able to pretty much fix the color and clean up all the specks and splotches.
I wanted to practice animating so I did a study of dance- like moves. In particular, the movements were mainly inspired by ice skating. I wasn't able to animate the hands yet but they will soon be added on for the final portfolio ;)
As anyone that's ever done homework with a 9-year old will tell you, it's a testament to this amazing woman that they're both smiling through the process.
I started college recently, and I totally love it. I have not been bale to do as much of my other hobbies as I usually do, like taking pictures, but I am writing and working on organizing my home and life and it is going quite well.
I have found that I cannot study in the same room as the television. I will say "Oh just one show, I will take a small break from homework" and that one show turns into three. So I have started doing homework in bed. Cozy and quiet.
Old cottage roof seen from my window. I didn't appreciate these until I drew them. I really like the position of shapes and the different red/orange tones of the roof tiles and old chimney.
This girl was teaching helping her brother and sister with their homework in the slum at Manek Chowk.
I watched while stuck in traffic on my scooter. I stopped and spent a while with their family who live in a low lean-to shelter on the edge of the street. Warm people.
