most of the time, it's a nagfest to do homework from start to finish, but every now and then, he'll surprise you and work on a project with great focus, until it's done

Maths homework is obviously proving a little difficult for Willow this weekend - I caught her taking a moment to chew the end of her pencil...

I love seeing the girls hard at work on their homework. What I really love is that this school gives weekly packets instead of nightly work, so the kids can go at their own speed. My girls prefer to just do it at the beginning of the week and get it over with. Fine by me!

I am actually cooking a real meal tonight: chicken marbella, basmati rice, and roasted broccoli. The girls just ran across the street to retrieve a wii game from their cousins. A nice Tuesday I think.

I couldn't get out of the apartment today and seeing how it is Super Bowl Sunday I did a still life commemorating the best birthday present I ever received, Super Bowl III on January 12, 1969.

Today's game was alright too.

Apparently my "homework" consists of standing still.
