My daughter doing homework at a friend's house during 4th of July barbecue.

Taking part in the Aviation Photography Take-Off Challenge this week (www.photographytakeoff.com), yesterday's homework was to try to get a shot from something that you would previously have binned. On a flat grey, rainy November day I was stuck at London Heathrow airport, my flight to Moscow cancelled and my onward flight to Bishkek well and truly missed... Here Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747-400 G-VWOW "Cosmic Girl" departs from runway 09R, seen from the airside observation deck at Terminal 4.

Pendant le confinement ! mon nouveau bureau à la maison. J'ai tout le matériel pour faire le support , meme pour les telecoms !

During confinement! my new home office. I have all the equipment to support, even for telecoms!

My instructor gave the class a collection of Boris Vallejo prints for us to do

a pencil rendering of his work. I chose this one. What's your take?

21/80 (days left in 2011)

Another scene from my daily life :)

I hope you're not missing my flowers and Paris shots too much, because I am really enjoying capturing 'normal' ordinary moments right now. Maybe it's a phase (I hope not though - I think I will be so happy with these kind of shots later).

Loved this quote!! So fitting for how I feel at the moment!

The wonderful thing about sometimes working from home is that the office dress code is my choice. It is really easy to simply slip into a dress, put on some makeup to look smart and I'm ready for the day.

Of course I also need to keep in practice for my girly weekend coming soon. I hope my homework gets full marks.

my dreams go deep

I used 1 projector with the texture of my GF Bea.

I also made 2 point lights, one in light pink and one in fair blue

The grid is the Phi and I did the composition the GF Bea is in the left 3 vertical spaces, mainly the 2/3 rd top and me and the Furniture the lowest and second and third spaces on the far right.

I loved playing with the lights!

I forgot what windlight *lol* and I played with the lighting environment....

Still having some troubles with the use of the Snapshot button and the Camera Tool at the same time..

My favorite spot for study this year.

Grab a cup of coffee and my tablet and head to the shore. Find a spot nestled among the rocks, hopefully with a bit of sun. Study strategy with the sound of the waves.

....anyone know the square root of -1 ??
