It dried much lighter than this. We picked gray grout because when we used white on our last tile job, it became discolored very quickly.
Here's the new vanity installed. Also visible is the new flooring. And yes, the pink walls will be painted soon.
Building a shelf thing to store containers in. Given the height of a single container, the finished shelve will have 10 rows and will hold up to 30 containers. This is the lumber after cutting to the required sizes.
I have really tall ceilings in my living room, so I hired painters to paint. Fortunately, I know a guy at work that works inexpensively.

The kitchen has 29 doors and 9 drawer-fronts. Here they are stacked, ready for me to start sanding them. Each one had to be sanded to give the primer purchase. Then they had to be primed and painted--some of them with two coats!
This is like digging out Pompeii. My dad bought the house in 1956 and I remember the different ways that the yard looked like when I was a kid growing up in the 70's. The area next to the fence once had a fish pond in it, but it was filled in with old bricks and dirt when I was about 3 years old and covered over with concrete. I discovered it as I took a jackhammer to it. I thought, "Just this last little strip and I'll be done!" Little did I know what lurked beneath the surface!
We purchased a 1400 + sq foot house in Boynton Beach on a quarter acre land with a fenced in backyard. Doggy door already installed. Now we begin the painting and decorating journey in our new home.
So today, the paint on the parts of the walls near the new sink is dried, so I quickly cut the baseboard and quarter-round to the right lengths (2" on the left side, and almost 2/3 of the original length on the right) and reattach them to the wall.
Then, I slide the sink / cupboard right against the wall, and using the provided screws secured the cupboard to the wall. (to help avoid any.. accidents)
