Other than the functioning mini-split nothing has been done with the interior.

If you are looking for a living room curtain maker in Dubai who deals with traditional style curtains, you can easily find one with the help of the internet. You will have to provide him or her with some of the photos that you may have in mind regarding the curtains.

The intent was to wait to rent a lift in the future to tackle the rest of the painting but there's time now and the scaffolding and ladder get to most.

The original landscaping plan. We've made some changes to save money and because I didn't like some aspects of it.

The landscapers are going to put in only the larger plants. I'm going to do the smaller stuff myself as another cost-saving step. Also, there will be a greater variety of perennials than what is shown here.

Bare plaster so quite dark but coming together nicely/ Still electrics, tiling, painting, sealing and floors to come

We have this ridiculous old concrete slab in our side yard -- it's where the old landing for a stairway used to be (this has been moved since the house was renovated).

Anyway, it's a huge tripping hazard in the dark and when I try to move trash cans in and out. I figure it's time to remove it. I rented a demolition hammer from Home Depot and went to work. That thing is FUN.

The picture might not look like we did much today, but we did A LOT.

Fabric vertical blinds Dubai is usually quite reasonably priced, especially when you consider how much they can effectively block out the sun. They can be easy to install, but you need to take extra care in maintaining them. You should ensure that the top layer of the fabric is regularly washed with a mild detergent, as this will keep them in good condition.

Seriously, is it awful? Be honest

We're almost to the point where everything attached to the wall (except the paint) is the way we want it.

No longer guessing what each one does.

Doors in - just got to get the painting done now!

dark brown, creamy white, and a camel yellow color

I've spent a few hours removing two layers of paint and one layer of stain from a small table.

I haven't much idea why someone decided to paint in white oil, then yellow latex, on this nice little table that had been stained medium brown, but what's done is done. And now undone. It was $10 at a secondhand shop named Ebenezer's Attic... how cool is that? The table has harp sides and a basket in the middle for newspapers (that would be the eight spindles, two rails, and panel right in the middle).

Still having nearly a quart of yellow-green paint (color name "Rejuvenate") left over from the bathroom remodel, which was only used on the windowsill, that's what color this will be... it's close enough to "shabby chic" and it goes well with the "Eucalyptus" green Marmoleum tiles in the familyroom.

Only work I've had to do on this other than the stripping is buy some new bolts for the top end. Seems two were lost and the previous person replaced them with two large screws... which connected to nothing because there are embedded nuts under the top.

I cut off the plug on this extension cord so I could run it through a small hole in the window frame into the basement. Then I wired up a removable plug. Voila! Christmas lights are now on outdoors.

Part of the waterbed room is for supplies and storage.

Some men's trash is cheap contractors' treasure. My regards to whomever buys the fuscha pink one.

End of day one - all that's left of the kitchen

Ripped out a moldy closet in our basement. We were rewarded with a moldy copy of Hustler, though it's too moldy to open it up & read the fascinating articles.

The wonders of Google have revealed to me that this is the September 1992 issue.

Just when you think your ahead of the game and ready to move onto new projects you go on vacation and come home to a flood - well weeds knee deep to pull them and find the broken pipe. I'm just so glad the weeds held everything in place and it didn't go into the house. Then overtime took over so it wasn't till today that hubby had the time to repair the pipes. Hope this helps cause this area has been a problem for well forever - hopefully we can plant the grass and it will all be good!!!!

Another view of the plumbing, and another lovely point--the finished floor runs up to the edge of the old cabinets and stops. That's subfloor there.
