This Guy is a legend and has taught me so much
about wood and woodwork over the years. I owe a lot of the skills I have today to him. He started me on how to make picture frames to a semi-professional standard. As well as many other projects.
He selflessly gave up his time to help me progress with my woodworking and encouraged me to continue with it, and it helped me through a particularly difficult time of my life with my own vision problems (neurological- recovered mostly now). He has Macular Degeneration the dry eye type and he is registered at 80% blind. He can't even watch TV. AND HE LITERALLY SEES EVERYTHING HE CAN SEE IN... BLACK AND WHITE
He is 85 years old very soon and he still works in his workshop all day, every day. Working with wood and machinery equipment. He works now mostly by touch. He is an extraordinary person. He just kept going...ABSOLUTE LEGEND
He also has the patience of a saint.

Kiev 6C, Orwocrhom UT18 (expired Nov 1980). Trial shooting and development of film in unknown condition 36 years past its expiration date. Not having access to the original Orwo 9165 chemistry, I went with what I had, the Digibase C-41 kit. Although many advise against using C-41 for Orwochrom, I pieced together a 'best possible' recipe as an experiment, a 'cold' 45 minute stand development at 20ºC. Apart from the acceptable results, I was also surprised at the good condition of the film. The scans had a fairly strong magenta hue, so some color adjustments were made in PS.
