Conversation at the camera store, choosing the right camera. Not much of an interest to me as an analog user, they mostly sells digitals. I was then invited to take some shots of models with analog later.

A shot with the Neopan400/Presto. I got a few rolls from a friend in Japan......and I never thought it would be discontinued. It is just so precious now....I am hessitant to finish the rest. Well, another end of a good thing. It's really horrible!

Thank you Hiro-san @ www.flickr.com/photos/hiro-fd/ for the film gift. This Presto Rocks!! I might have over-developed the negatives.....room temperature is rising due to the hot spells and La Nina. It's 36D Celcius in the night, last I checked!

A local fishing vessel in the "dry dock" - out for repair and maintenance work. Metering from the shades, details from the highlight can be fully recovered from this single BW negative shot.....this Fuji Neopan 400 Presto has a high latitude.

Thank you especially to my friend Hiroyuki Furudera for the nice gift of Fujifilm Neopan Presto!! This film rocks bro!

I took this shot this morning and was in sixes with the operation of the Hasselblad, just after shooting a few rolls with my Kiev88. I was confused big time......I had inadvertently opened the film back without the dark slides, but quickly shoving it back on. I was horrified when I saw the roll immediately after fixing.....the light streak was evident. But it had sort of dissapear after drying.......magic !!!

I am clueless.

A low light capture with the Olympus Trip 35. Using some old trick....shooting flash mode with aperture selection - flash synch speed shutter and f2.8. The Zuiko and Trip does it's job well.

At times like this the old TLR comes in handy.

He was getting curious what I was shooting - so I pulled out my old trusty Yashica Mat back after a service. He relax and willingly posed for a portrait. When I was finished he asked me "Can that thing still shoot?" so I replied - "Hell Yeah!!"

The home development went bad for this roll of Ilford Delta 400 - Expired. It was resisting the loading into the developing tank. The film was thick and curling pretty good. I must have tried a good 20 times and end up scratching the roll....as you can see here. A good two hours were the struggle, the film was feeling rather slimy then....before I manage to load it eventually.

Half boiled eggs consumed for breakfast. A favorite at the Kopitiam, but this is just at a mamak restaurant with the bread toasted on a flat frying plate. The aftertaste of cooking oil is still strong on the toast......there goes my cholesterol reducing diet!!

Got back my Olympus OM2 for repairs on the shutter cloth.....bad news, no parts! I immediately took out the camera for a test. Some shots in low lights like this is not affected....only on bright conditions the rip in the shutter cloth shows some light leaks.

This Guy is a legend and has taught me so much

about wood and woodwork over the years. I owe a lot of the skills I have today to him. He started me on how to make picture frames to a semi-professional standard. As well as many other projects.

He selflessly gave up his time to help me progress with my woodworking and encouraged me to continue with it, and it helped me through a particularly difficult time of my life with my own vision problems (neurological-recovered mostly now). He has Macular Degeneration the dry eye type and he is registered at 80% blind. He can't even watch TV. AND HE LITERALLY SEES EVERYTHING HE CAN SEE IN... BLACK AND WHITE

He is 85 years old very soon and he still works in his workshop all day, every day. Working with wood and machinery equipment. He works now mostly by touch. He is an extraordinary person. He just kept going...ABSOLUTE LEGEND

So I offer him for a shot and he obliged for a post....I finally found his mother the janitor at the park facilities, and she agreed. So snap!...but the home processing is another issue.
