I'm in the ground floor of a Georgian town house, built in 1805. The rooms are huge - this is just half the sittingroom! It still has a lot of original features such as the cornices & marble fireplace and very high ceilings. A bugger to keep warm though!

Well, we are back - and what an adventure! The island was indeed Paradise, and I will show you hundreds of photos of sun, sea, sand, and other paradisical stuff - like sunsets, and food, champagne and heavy, warm rain...
We had one little nightmare = the return flight to Dubai was eventually cancelled after we had got up at 5.30 and sat in the airport and the plane ALL day, finally get some dinner and a room at 9pm!! Stilled remarkably chilled though....
Except for the approx. 2 months we stayed downstairs with the real fire, this is the daily morning and evening scene at our home. I think my husband got a little tired of keeping the other fire going all the time. So for now, he just turns this one on, puts up his feet and has his morning coffee. And I am in the opposite chair with my own cup of coffee:)
For the group Parallel Vision
Sadly, I'm going to have to move soon due to the monthly tier increase for homestead open space sims. Before that happens though, I wanted to capture the place that has so many happy memories for me. It's been a great home and I'm hopeful to duplicate it's warmth and fun in my new place. I'll miss you, Kellin :)
