Home office setup. Most of my work is done on the PowerMac G5 Quad which is also powering two 20" Apple Cinema Displays. Moreover, I own a iBook G4 which I use for presentations. I shall soon be upgrading to a Macbook Pro later this year. Also I own a Fender Strat and constantly read mathematics books.

This old frontage in Derby Street Leek, has been photographed by many others before me, but I note from Street View that the current owners, Il Gusto, have thoughtfully covered over the old facia with a new one of their own.

"Dad's Army" is a British sitcom about the UK's Home Guard during the Second World War, originally broadcast from 1968 to 1977, running for nine series and 80 episodes in total, and is still shown on tv both in the UK and internationally.
The Home Guard consisted of local volunteers otherwise ineligible for military service, either because of age, (hence Dad's Army), or by being in professions exempt from conscription.

A quick build for round 2 of Iron Forge. Seed parts are used throughout the furniture and the window. I think total of 18. I ran out of tiles, so the floor is all kinds of mismatched.

The network closet is only about 30cm wider and twice as long as what you see in this photo. It has its own aircon which runs constantly, keeping the room at about 19C. The second UPS in the photo actually feeds the circuit to the 4 outlets at my desk. To the right is the cabinet where I store all of my camera equipment.

jia xin came staying over since last night.
a fine morning. we had breakfast with 姑婆 at this famous prawn mee place in glenmarie.
we have not caught up with 姑婆 for months...since before our europe trip in june.
姑婆 went on to watch 'escape plan' the movie at setia mall after breakfast.
