Think that this may be the first Bench on a Monday for this year. I added a Sepia Hint preset as the light was fading and the original seemed a little dull !
Thanks for views, comments and faves, all are very much appreciated :)
Some trees responding to the weather changing (last year) showing bright coloured leaves on a gray and cloudy day, near the beginning of October.
I made this time stack by combining 177 photos into one image.
Smoke from wildfires often obscured our views of the Absaroka range, but not here. This is just a foothill, not one of the real peaks.

Yosemite is not exclusively a landscape venue. There are some great opportunities for close-up work. We were constantly moving leaves around to get that perfect "Fall shot"...... I am pleased to announce that the leaf in this picture is the real thing. Nature stuck it there. So from me to you......Happy Fall.
The trouble with winter…..Is that I find that I don’t get around so much to take so many photos, with the darker and damp days making taking the camera out a waste of time….And that can be a real problem when like today…. all I really want to do is to share a photo with you that has a hint of love running through the image……With no words needed …….So I thought….Let’s look through our yesterday years and see what we could find……which would come close to showing the look of love that we are sometimes blessed to see..….So after some time…..I came across this photo taken about 14 months ago of Misty and Billie Jean…(Belle)……And I thought…..That’s not so bad……I think it fits all you and i have been taking about here ….So what do you think……
Der Große Garten in den Herrenhäuser Garten in Hannover zeigt sich bei schönstem Sonnenschein im Winterkleid.
Galah family in urban backyard. Mum left, Dad centre, and bub in the background.
Everything was not as idyllic as it seemed. The baby was a poor flyer, and the parents were feeding it in a low bush. They later flew off and left the chick behind. A couple of hours later there was a flock of galahs on the power lines above, no sign of baby, and a neighbour's cat sitting in the garden. I shooed the cat away and looked for the chick, but could not find it.
Next day the chick was walking around on the ground in the back-yard, still unable to fly. I suspect it hid itself in the garden overnight. After catching it, my friend and I saw that it had what seemed like a bite on its breast.
Baby is now safely with the RSPCA, and will be brought back to the same place for release after it recovers.
Canberra, Australia, October, 2017.
All hints on how to keep cats out of the garden will be gratefully received.
It looks like Henry is trying to tell me something.
I wonder what it could be?
