Old steel hinges off the bus. Still finding evidence of the bus living on the farm. Two dead flies, harvest time the buses were full of the things absolutely minging. Now the bus is nice and clean, thankfully finding these remains is becoming less and less.

This door hinge details was part of the main doors into St. Georges Parish Church, Doncaster.

 

Doncaster's outstanding example of Victorian neo-Gothic architecture by Sir George Gilbert Scott. Built in 1858 to replace a Norman church burnt down in 1853. The matching door knob is here.

An old blue hinge.

Had to climb inside the car to get some fasteners installed.

Hinge seen on the shed at the Shawnee Indian Mission museum, Fairway, KS.

Some places have an energy about them.

 

This is a very unique place, based on stone hinge it’s a WWII war memorial on the Washington side of the Columbia river across from Hood River.

This design is very, very old - I couldn't even find who originated it. It's a hinged cage - it can be opened to hold gems, special beads, or tumbled stones. When it's closed and on a chain it's impossible to come open accidentally.
