This project is an attempt to improve my photography by limiting what I shoot, and forcing me to get it right with the camera, and not having to resort to Photoshop.

This gate looks far older than it is, mainly due to the rusty hinge. I think the hinge gives a good contrast with the fairly well preserved timber.

Evergreen tubing was cut to about a 3/32" width and sliced in half to make hinge brackets for the back of the front.hood. Steel pins made from piano wire were glued to the brackets using Plastc Surgery super CA glue. The brackets were glued to the hood using styrene cement.
