I can't blame him for being so baffled at seeing such a stupid homo sapiens sapiens (although for the animal I was no doubt homo neanderthalensis) climbing up what was a rather steep slope. Usually you realize how steep it is only when you go down and see it "in front of you"... :-) :-( :-) For them it's a piece of cake to walk in such terrain, for me it isn't.
To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. (Revelation 2:7)
The mausoleum is to honour of the hero Pahlavon Mahmud, writer, philosopher and fighter who has become a patron saint of Chiwa. After the legend he helped the Indian ruler, and to recompense him, he asked what he wants as a present. He asked to release his fellow citizens in the prison so many as possible who could contain a cowhide. This was accepted, but he cut it in thin pieces to receive a very long belt which saved a big number of them.
The mausoleum comes from 1362, however, was rebuilt in 19. and in 1913 to be converted into the mausoleum of the Khan family. The room is in the Persian style with a turquoise-coloured dome in which the grave of the Khan Mohammed Rakhim is accommodated. In another space there is the tomb of Pahlavon Mahmud, decorates with tiles.
I remember the moment I chose this look - not for the world, but for him… or perhaps for the possibility of him. The kind of man who doesn’t just notice - he sees. And when that moment comes, I never leave anything to chance.
This is where the Brenda Dress by LF Design becomes my quiet advantage - my unspoken introduction.
There’s something undeniably magnetic about its silhouette. The deep plunging neckline dares without apology, sculpting a line that feels both confident and irresistibly feminine. The tailored waist - cinched with that perfectly balanced belt - draws everything inward, creating a soft hourglass that moves as I move. And those elongated sleeves, kissed with sheer striping, add just enough intrigue… a play between concealment and revelation.
The cut is deliberate - a harmony of structure and fluidity. The hemline floats just high enough to tease, while the vertical striping elongates my form, making every step feel like a statement rather than a movement. It’s not just a dress - it’s posture, presence, intention.
And then there’s the HUD - my personal palette of moods. 🎨 With a full spectrum of colorways and tint capabilities, I don’t just wear the Brenda Dress… I curate it. Soft neutrals for quiet afternoons, bold contrasts for nights when I want to be remembered. The textures respond beautifully under light, enhancing every contour with subtle realism and depth. It gives me control - and that control is power.
To complete the look, I slipped into the Zena Boots. They don’t whisper - they declare. The thigh-high rise wraps my legs in a sleek, second-skin finish, grounding the softness of the dress with a bold, unapologetic edge. The stiletto heel lifts not just my height, but my confidence… changing the rhythm of how I walk, how I pause, how I turn.
Their HUD is just as expressive - offering multiple color options from classic black to daring reds, allowing me to shift the entire mood of the ensemble with a single click. Whether I want mystery or fire… they deliver.
Together, this look becomes something more than fashion. It becomes a feeling. The kind you wear when you’re not searching anymore - but you’re ready to be found. Because when the right man enters your life… you don’t try to impress him - you simply arrive as your most unforgettable self. ✨
The Brenda Dress is compatible with Maitreya, Legacy, Reborn, Kupra, LaraX, Niramyth, and Waifu mesh bodies, ensuring a flawless, sculpted fit across today’s most sought-after silhouettes. The Zena Boots are compatible with Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, Kupra, and LaraX mesh bodies, designed with precision shaping that hugs the leg beautifully for that seamless thigh-high finish.

Spotted this young Blackcap waiting for his parents to bring him food this morning. When i heard the male above me i stepped back so as not to scare him away.
I have often noticed that when shooting through bushes the pf lens does fall down a bit. This shot was centrally clear. The pf elements however not liking these situations do leave the whole image slightly fogged
I first spotted him peeking over our doggie whirly-gig (see last shot) at his favorite place around the serviceberry tree. You'd swear it was the same individual back again - same behaviors, same spot, very playful. I've seen Zabulon's in the field already so it may be a good year for this less common species.
Happy Butterfly Monday!
A friend sent me out to find him a big cigar. I found the the Little Cigar Store and was ready to pass it by until I noticed they sold lids. I figured I'd surprise my friend. Turns out they didn't really have lids, at least not the kind I was looking for, but they did have big cigars.

She has him wrapped around her little finger with a time of 15.46 They make such a great team.
This event requires control, attention to detail, and a close partnership between horse and rider. Competing against the clock, contestants circle three barrels in a cloverleaf pattern and race back across the scoreline. Time is measured with an electronic eye timer, and a hundredth of a second can determine who wins. A rider may touch a barrel, but if she knocks one over a five-second penalty is added to her total time.
President Trump has belittled and mocked the UK Prime Minister publicly, comparing him, deeply unfavourably, with the UK's most celebrated wartime leader, Winston Churchill.
Well Donald trump does seem to be like the British weather - -
America currently has a president whose language and outlook can change in minutes.
And in the end (as always) it will be about oil, gas and money.
Throughout human history it has always been about the things that control power in its most general meaning.

We called him stubby. He has only a partial tail obviously nabbed in a fight or something..
I want to take this time to thank ALL that sent me Flickr mail and comments on my stream during my absence. I felt sooo honored that so many worried about my well being. I'm very healthy! I just spent time doing other things I'm interested in. I try not be one-dimensional. It’s important for me to diversify my interests.
I did bugger both shoulders building a shed and re-doing my garage, but other than that and having hernia surgery after my Canada trip I'm as healthy as a ole horse. Not ready for pasture yet, but slowing down a bit. It's hard aging unless you have hobbies and a reason to get up in the morning. So many have shared so much on Flickr and I believe this is a forum of interaction and getting to know one another and our lives that connect us through our photography addiction.
So, to those of you that posted your concerns about my whereabouts, and health, not to worry...but it so honoring and much appreciated. Thank you all soo very much for caring about this ole guy!!!
Make it a great day my dear friends, as it is a choice!!
During sunrise on private Navajo land in Monument Valley a family of wild horses were grazing around near the Totem Pole. The large male kept his eye on me as I got closer to take a few photos of him in the morning light.
Marrant ce cygne, il suffisait que je siffle pour qu'il vienne près de moi
Funny swan, I just needed to whisle for him to come near me
Now she clutched him to her bosom, "You're so beautiful, " she cried
"But if I hadn't brought you in by now you might have died"
Now she stroked his pretty skin again and then kissed and held him tight
But instead of saying thanks, that snake gave her a vicious bite (ooh)
"Take me in, oh, tender woman (yes, come on in)
Take me in, for heaven's sake (yes, come on in)
Take me in, tender woman, " sighed the snake
"I saved you, " cried that woman
"And you've bitten me, even why?
And you know your bite is poisonous and now I'm gonna die"
"Oh, shut up, silly woman, " said that reptile with a grin
"Now you knew darn well I was a snake before you brought me in"
"Please take me in, oh, tender woman (yes, come on in)
Take me in, for heaven's sake (yes, come on in)
Take me in, tender woman, " sighed the snake...
Let's call him Prof Pangloss. He is experimenting with his sensory system (sight, sound, smell, taste, touch) in order to verify what is in front of him. Sound, smell and taste don't apply, mainly because it is an artificial flower. Touch and vision, however, do produce lots of data. These data can not be 'digested' - they don't make 'sense', unless they are referenced against the prof's large memory banks. After having classified and recognised the object, his mind develops what was an incoherent mass of data into an image of a red artificial flower. That image was not "out there", it is created in his brain. And I am photographing as he is doing it. And you, the viewer, are doing what Pangloss did, you convert these five or so million dots and, then, you "see" the image. Fuji X-Pro1 plus Zhongyi Speedmaster 0.95/35 at F8.
He looks at her like he’s gazing intensely into her eyes
He looks at her like he senses her pain
He looks at her appreciatively
He looks at her like she’s the most beautiful thing he has ever seen
He looks at her like no one ever has
He looks at her compassionately
He looks at her like there’s no tomorrow
He looks at her and finally says the words she has been waiting for with all his heart
He says “I love you…”
She looks at him and says “Do you mean it?”
He replies “Yes… I do…”
He kisses her on her forehead and says “Forever… I promise…”
He made her the happiest girl alive and made her smile like never before…
He made her smile a smile of happiness… a smile of hope…
He smiled back a smile of love… a smile of promise… a smile of * forever *

It was on a beautiful spring day in April when I encountered it, the royal bird of the forests in Switzerland. It had always fascinated me, the beautiful bird with the blue feathers, but photographing him is a completely different matter because he is clever, very clever. Every time the jay came near me, he immediately recognized when I wanted to photograph him and flew away. I only had seconds to focus on the bird, and then he was gone again. To my happiness and great astonishment, I suddenly saw the jay in front of me in a wooded area where he was flying around. After a while, the beautiful bird perched on a branch where he remained for some time. I finally had the opportunity to photograph the busy bird well, without any rush. I soon realized that they were a pair searching for each other. In this sense, I was able to enjoy these two, who were more concerned with themselves than with someone like me, who had been trying for so many years to somehow photograph this clever bird. Patience sometimes pays off, even if it requires special circumstances. Being in the right place at the right time is the order of the day...
The clearest way into the universe is through the wilderness of the forest.

Like this song but it makes me so sad that we can not live in peace with each other. It brings tears to my eyes. Yuval Raphal has such a beautiful voice. THIS WAS IN REFERENCE TO THE OCTOBER 7TH MASSACRE AS SHE SAID AT THE END OF THE SONG!! THE MUSIC VIDEO MAKES REFERENCE TO THAT!! SHE SURVIVED AND PUT OUT AN AMAZING SONG!
THIS IS TRULY POWERFUL!!
How could you fall in love with him?
How could you give your heart to him?
Thought we'd grow old, as lovers,
Together til the end.
