History
Well known for their ability to transform Mustang’s into modern masterpieces, the Ringbrothers have set the bar even higher with Bowers ’65 Mustang. The body was widened an incredible four inches, highlighted by the custom BASF * (orange) paint, and both the hood and roof are carbon-fiber – signature Ringbrothers touches. Under the hood is high compression Keith Craft-built 427 cubic inch stroker based on the 351 Windsor small block making 740 crank horsepower. The matte finish three-piece wheels designed by the Ringbrothers were built by Forgeline. Baer brakes, Afco shocks and a suspension consisting of front tubular A-arms and a Watts link set up in the rear give the car razor sharp handling. The car gets its name (in this graphic image) from (The) Appleman. See link shown below for the “actual” name (and credit) for which this car was named.

BTW – the blue oval object evident on the front is the oil filter. Clever placement, huh?

I love white cars and driving high performance vehicles. That’s why all my cars in America have always been White Mercedes-Benz vehicles, all except one being AMG. I also love Ferrari. So this is another white car I would definitely love .. if I could afford it. 😄
My neighbors have wonderful homes and toys, but this one has the coolest toys. This is parked street-side while just driveway is redone. Inside the garage are the Lamborghini, the Mercedes-Benz GTR, the limited edition Porsche, and a couple if classic sports cars. I really think he should let me keep this one in the spare garage in my White House. I’m obviously just saying that to be a good neighbor. 😄

Wellsville Kansas was buzzing with the addition of this 1970 Dodge Super Bee that took part in the annual car show.
When the Dodge Super Bee arrived in 1968, it was inspired by another Dodge vehicle, the Coronet, and it was headed for direct competition with Plymouth’s counterpart, the Road Runner. The first two years of the Super Bee received mild fanfare, but a drastic makeover for the 1970 edition and all subsequent model years gave it more attention. The Super Bee was more of a classic car by that point, thanks to its revamped functional interior and aesthetically pleasing exterior. It was known as a “muscle car,” which refers to high-performance American coupes that may or may not feature both a rear-wheel drive and a high-displacement V8 engine. Throughout its history, Dodge produced only 33% as many Super Bee cars as Plymouth produced Road Runners, making Super Bees a little more prized. After 1971, Dodge retired the Super Bee format in favor of the charger, but a few years into the 2000s, a new generation of Super Bees has revived the name.

Teddy Navarro doing a big air on his Sunova - full balsa surfboard - the original parabolic rail, by Bert Burger.
The Full Balsa Surfboard – for Maximum Twang
Balsa has the highest rate of flex return of any material used in lightweight composite technology.
When applied as a skin to the Sunova precision machined shapes, this sweet natural material also gives you the highest performance option.
As with a Springer, the Sunova full balsa surfboard adds another dimension of spring to a sandwich board:- an unrivalled degree of sensitivity and spring from any part of the board.
Sunova’s individual balsa patterns and grain mean no two timber-skinned boards will look the same.
However, after working with balsa for so long we have arrived at the weight, density and grain structure that give the magic formula, board for board.
Strength and long term durability in your surfboard, are also at their greatest with The Sunova Full Balsa.

I had so much fun with the one can for macro Mondays I figured why stop. Not constrained to the 3" rule I thought I could work with the whole can. Sourcing empty cans was easier than I thought, a quick walk along a back road provided all I needed. It seems that after consuming a can of this stuff, the arm goes into motion mode that inevitably leads to the can winding up on the side of the road.
Each can was shot individually with my Nikon 55mm f/2.8 NIKKOR Micro with about a 6 image focus stack. They do seem to have a lot of potential for art. Three cans, a wavy window and yummy glow colors make this slider complete!

Mercedes Benz S65 AMG V12 6L 8Legs 604 Horsepower 2 Dogs Power German (Shepherd) Engineering Lap(Dogs) Of Luxury Dual Anti-Theft System - IMRAN™
Pardon the terrible corny puns that came to mind when I took this iPhone photo. As I was entering the local grocery store (I avoid insurrection-funding Publix) two lovely ladies walking by my parked car caught the attention of my two German Shepherd Dogs, Kennedy in the rear and K2 in the front seat. Well, mine too.
As they gushed over the dogs (but not me 😄) before getting in their car, the dogs gazed at me standing at the store entrance. They (the dogs) were probably waiting to know how much better than me they would again eat when I would get some boney meat cuts for them.
In the meantime they looked like an effective dual active anti-theft system for German (Shepherds) Engineering of Mercedes Benz’ 6 liter 8 legs 604 horsepower plus 2 dogs’ power lap(dogs) of luxury.

Here’s a beautiful 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 Sports Coupe with mags that nicely match the era. It’s also nice to see that the owner practiced restraint in that the wheel diameter looks appropriate and it isn’t painted all black.
The Mangusta replaced the Vallelunga model, on which its chassis was based.[2] The word "mangusta" is Italian for "mongoose", an animal that can kill cobras. It was rumored that the car was so named because De Tomaso had some talks with Carroll Shelby to replace the Shelby Cobra with a racing car to be built in Italy by the Argentine-born De Tomaso ("De Tomaso Sport 5000" a.k.a. "De Tomaso P70"),[3] but no deal was signed since Shelby became involved in the Ford GT40 racing program. Nevertheless, Alejandro de Tomaso and Carroll Shelby were friends[citation needed] and business is business, so it is also rumored that the first handful of engines for the Mangusta may have come from Shelby. The Mangusta was replaced by the much cheaper-to-build De Tomaso Pantera in 1971.
401 Mangustas were built, about 150 of the European version, the remainder were the North American version. The initial cars are claimed to have a more powerful Ford HiPo 289 cu. in. engine; the later cars all had Ford 302 engines. With the 1970 model USA destined cars were produced with 2 headlamp pop-up, an estimated 50 cars were produced in this configuration. One car was built with a Chevrolet engine for General Motors-Vice President, Bill Mitchell.[4] There are reported to be approximately 250 of the 401 cars left in existence, according to the three available registries.
