Amazing how the light and warmth of the sun can improve our sense of well being (speaking as a Briton where rainy grey days sometimes become weeks and months.)
This one is the tallest (around 2m) of several Sunflowers which I raised from seed in my newly created garden to the front of my house.

This is a tor at the top of belstone common that's normally just walked passed while hiking over the moors, with the recent icey conditions it would of been rude not to have photographed it.
From its start on Oak Lane giving access to a pretty row of stone cottages, Higher Lane changes character and becomes a wide, rock-strewn track up to Windmill Lane, now looking more like a dry river bed through a forest

Or "the factory" as we knew it, in Higher Walton. This is my first successful Polaroid transfer using ID-UV film, which is very suited to this technique. Wish I'd got more as you get 2 originals for the price of one and the film was cheaper anyway. I am digging the ancient look of this technique. Going to get a little hardback art-book with decent quality paper to keep these in.
About to hit the road. Glasgow, Stirling and the West Highlands - old haunts re-visited, this time with more time to relax, take photographs and make music. I'll be carrying a box of vintage cameras including a MPP large format camera and Polaroid back for taking Type 54 portraits for my "101 non-Strangers" project. Also onboard is Agfa Isolette, Pentacon Six, Polaroid SX-70 and 250, Fuji Instax, Pentax MX and SP.

I know Im posting a lot of Venus images but Im trying to improve my technique.
Previously Ive used the Baader UV filter but here Ive used the Astrodon UVenus filter as it is said to have greater transmission in the UV. I was certainly able to reduce exposure times whilst keeping gain and %histogram the same - that resulted in many more frames per 2 minute video run.
I removed another one of the spacers in my Baader modular VIP Barlow so just x1.5 magnification here taking total magnification to about 6000mm f/30 and an image scale of 0.1 arcsec/pixel - still a bit higher than I would like.
Also getting comfortable using an ADC - usually needs just 0.5 or 1 "stop" for this target at 21 degree elevation.
Seeing was moderate for my site

This was originally going to be my 365 for yesterday... Still not sure if I'm liking it even now. BUT HEY YOU PROBABLY DO SO YAYAYAYAY.
This shot is of Higher Hartor Tor, Dartmoor, just after sunrise with the sun illuminating the tor from the side
It was a cracking morning to be out and about and, on the way back to the car, with views of empty moor all around me, I thought "wahay, I live here!".

Another shot of the Tavy Bridge taken last Friday evening at Warleigh Point. I was hoping the tide would be higher to get a reflection of the bridge, so I'll have to go back again soon.
