Looking down from the clifftops at East Soar onto Starehole Bay, near Salcombe on the South Devon coast. The jagged rock formations fall steeply into the turquoise water below, a striking example of the rugged South Hams shoreline. Can you spot the climber amongst the rocks? Photograph taken at East Soar (National Trust), along the South West Coast Path..
Dramatic cliffs, hidden coves, and sweeping sea views define East Soar, a rugged stretch of the South Devon coast managed by the National Trust. Secluded Starehole Bay, between Bolt Head and Bolt Tail, carries layers of history: linked to Viking landings, smuggling tales, and the wreck of the Herzogin Cecilie in 1936.
Archaeological surveys reveal prehistoric fields, medieval earthworks, and 20th-century military sites tied to RAF Bolt Head.

I have not been shooting Taipei 101 for a long time. As the sky was very beautiful, I could not miss this fabulous sunset and night scene.

Description: 2014-03-07: The image was taken as Kuala Lumpur enters it's almost 2 month of the most dry and hot season yet, since a few years. Early during the week, the Klang Valley (and most of the places in the country) was covered with haze. Though the day that this image was taken, it was still having some haze. Still, Alhamdulillah that I decided to stop by a regular spot for photography in Kuala Lumpur for a short timelapse session. Enjoy.

Today was a beautiful sunny while we started to go hiking. After an hour tough hiking, the sun disappeared and turned to be misty. I only could snap several night shots. Hope my legs will be OK tomorrow.

Women start arriving at the traditional market well before sunrise to shop for the day. Fresh meats, vegetables, and fruit are readily available. By 10:00am it is all over.

The Hong Lim Complex was built in 1977 and was one of the first high-rise buildings in Singapore's Chinatown area. It is a mixed-use development that comprises 30 floors of commercial space and residential units on the upper floors. The complex is also known for its popular hawker centre, which is located on the ground floor and offers a variety of affordable and delicious local food.
It has been a while not to see this kind of glowing sky in Taipei. I will be away for 3 days next week to visit the central part of Taiwan to catch the beautiful scenery there.

Description: 2014-04-16: Waking up rather late that morning, I noticed that the light show promises of a beautiful sunrise. Upon completing my task that morning, I made my way to the nearest spot that I could think of which was the Kg. Baru public apartment. Though I missed the beautiful blue hour, I am grateful that I was able to witness the beautiful light that morning. This image is part of 186 image frames taken for that morning time lapse. Description: The image was taken from a well known (to photographers enthusiast especially) building within Kuala Lumpur City. This was my second visit to the place as my previous visit, the weather was rather cloudy. Though the view from the building during day time is not as presentable when using Wide lens, I love the view that you can get during night and blue hour especially as the golden lights from the building and streets seems to glow with contrast to the black/blue sky. The image is part of 664 image sequence to feed my time-lapse hunger. Do visit my Vimeo or facebook later for the time-lapse version. :-)

The sunset in Taipei was not that clear and passionate as from the high mountain. I still visited an urban mountain to shoot the sunset. Fortunately, the sky got red as the sun was setting.
這兩天台北雖然放晴，但是天空都不是很美，今天還是衝了拇指山，原本希望拍張夕陽映照101的美圖，可惜夕陽後來弱掉，幸好還有幾分鐘的紅霞滿天～

"It takes a village" I took this image in 1983 working as a Photographer's Mate in the US Navy as a photographer stationed in Sigonella, Sicily. I would walk around Catania and do street photography when I had time off from my duties.
This is one of best shooting spots of viewing Taipei night scene with Taipei 101. Though the hiking trail is a tough one, I will visit there again to get more shots there.
從拇指山拍攝101夜景，視野非常廣，我還拍了更右邊的南港部分，但是因為會太寬，下次，再分享囉！
雖然這裡的階梯很辛苦，但我還蠻喜歡這個拍101的角度，我會鍛鍊腳力，下次再去挑戰！
