Banjarbaru, Indonesia

It pictures traditional diamond mining in South Kalimantan, Indonesia. The miners destroy soil structure with high pressure water spray. Then, the mud and any stone therein are pumped up to a manual sifter. There, other miner team will examine all stones and select the raw stone which has high value, like gemstone, crystal, and diamond.

5XP HDR shot of downtown San Francisco, California.

It was so cool to get in almost all of downtown San Francisco, especially since you can distinctly see both Market Street, Golden Gate Bridge, and even Alcatraz Island in the distance! Additionally, I thought having the car light trails in the foreground made this even more interesting, and I hope you do too!

Today was a bright sunny day and I went to Mt. Datun where is 1,092m high to get the best view of Taipei. However, the after glow was more beautiful than the sunset.

今天夕陽有點弱,幸而霞光大噴,台北盆地華燈初上,相當迷人啊!

This was one of the better day's when it wasn't too hot or too humid, but I guess that's part of the charm of living in a sub-tropical climate!

I got Ella to model for me today, but it was quite late and it was starting to get dark. I am spewing as most of the images were way to dark 8( Oh well, at least I know she loves to dress up in pretty props so I might be able to convince her to do it all over again tomorrow.lol

My very first shot on Flickr using a Nikon.

I've been a Canon user all my life. Not necessarily because I thought it was better, but from my experience and from people around me, it seems that mostly you stumble somehow upon the brand rather than choose it consciously. That vein said, I always had a lot of respect for Nikon every time I held one in my hand. I find this one actually pretty impressive for a compact. Looking forward to using it more.

A variation from an earlier Goldenrod shoot. The golden armor is simply fantastic, even in a small scale like this.

This was actually shot in my studio. It was her idea; she wanted me to take her picture wrapped up in the white blanket. I convinced her to add her pillow and another blanket from her bed, and this is what we got...my pretty girl. :)

You might wonder what this has got to do with running, well I'm starting to feel like I'm running out of ideas for my project.lol Another shot of the dumplings! I know it's a stretch, but the running out of ideas part is true, I'm glad I've only got another 24 days left to go...and I hope I can convince Leon to be in at least one of those 24 shots.hahaha He wasn't in the mood today either, he did say he'll do it tomorrow, so who knows you might have a Leon pic to look forward to for tomorrow. Oh And of course Good Looks runs in the family...hahaha
