Sorry for the orchid overload! Wild orchids are a whole new world for me and it's so fascinating. I had never seen lady's-slipper orchids until today and now I'm sorting through literally hundreds of photos LOL
It's the largest orchid species in Europe, growing to 60 cm tall with flowers as wide as 9 cm. But in spite of their size and colour the flowers are hidden quite well among the other plants.
Behind the Tangled Garden, amid the trees, was a charming cabin. Here's my version - reworked, repainted, and textured.

Wow! I took this photo years ago and it was just sitting on my computer unprocessed. I’m so happy I found this hidden gem. I also like it in b&w but I’ll post the b&w tomorrow and you can tell me which one you like better. :)

Hidden Falls, Grand Teton National Park. I enjoyed my adventurous hike early the morning I took this photo, as I was hiking alone in bear country and the trail led through some berry patches. Fortunately I did not see any bears that morning, but I saw five during my five-day vacation.
I have been to this area many times and never knew this falls even existed. I was told by a buddy about it and made my way to see it. I wasn't disappointed, it was a beautiful little falls!!! Kris...
