This hibernating Tortoiseshell woke up in a warm church this morning so I have put it in the porch which is not heated. I find they crawl away into a suitable spot and wake up again in the spring.
I have just started a patchwork class at my local college in the evenings. I have started with this bear that I did from polka dot bunnys pattern and added some borders. Next week I am going to try hand quilting it.

Yes, it's that time of the year again, when these little Richardson's Ground Squirrels (commonly, but incorrectly, called Gophers) come out of hibernation. This one was out in the sun on April 12th, in North Glenmore Park - we've had more snow since then!
It's that time of the year. The spring semester is starting and that means less free time, less photography and less time to edit photos. I'll be updating, but more infrequently.
