The Winter of Discontent as lock down resumes in Toronto next Monday.

And we are readying for take off. Can everybody swim? Your ejection button is on your right, should you need it...We anticipate a bumpy flight. If it isn't rough, you are probably on the wrong flight. Enjoy your trip!

I hope I didn't offend anyone who has a fear of flying...

The first snow is always magical...but I hope we don't have a winter like last year!

He wants brigtht, beautiful, springtime colors!

Sigh..... He called me baby!

Human, you'll just have to do better! And bring me my pink Swarovski crystal necklace!

year 13 ? ? ? am i mad . . . .

It seems that this week is all about selfies !! I missed a challenge the other day that was Bargain and in my quest for my Get Pushed image (if you haven't seen it be warned it's scary!!) I went on the hunt round the charity shops to see if I could find a suitable dress....I found 2...yey any excuse ey ! So as I didn't actually end up using it for that photograph I thought I could fulfil the missed challenge today. I am also just about to start striping all the walls in the dining room as well so thought I would make the most of the empty room and practise my flying at the same time.

ODC2 Challenge Bargain (Green Dress only £5 at Cancer Care Shop)

I'd better switch back into normal mode and go start the striping......decorating that is !! Will be back later to mooch around all of your fabulous streams !

Another perspective on barbed wire, this time in the rain instead of a glorious sunrise.

Happy Fence Friday :o)

I was driving down the road and spotted this lovely array of Pink Fuscia poking through a fence and had to stop and take a photograph as I've missed Fence Friday for the last couple of weeks !! Love the pink bokeh in this one !

Glorious blue skies with barely a cloud giving a fabulous orange glow this evening and I just made it back in time to catch a little sun on this fabulous old iron fence for Day 28 and HFF combined !!!

Comments and faves greatly appreciated :o)

Have a great weekend HFF

This morning was beautiful ! It was extremely cold at -4 but clear and glorious and once again the Sun and Moon were in the sky at the same time !

As I was driving down the back lane to school where I have been eyeing up a couple of fences, the sun was just beginning to surface giving a lovely orange glow to everything...so I pulled over for a quick 5 min photo shoot for Day 20 !!!!

Wow I can't believe it....Explore #25...Thank you for all comments and faves they are all very much appreciated :o)

I know I know this is such a clichéd shot, but I've actually wanted to do one of these so it had to feature in my 365 at some point...so when better but for the 'Stone' Challenge. I've had these stones for years and all the little stones are in my back garden/yard (covering the old driveway) and I thought created some pretty bokeh behind !

As I looked at the beautifull sea, the white, flowers, seabreeze and all the hope that goes with it , somehow in my mind it came a song by Ray Charles "here we go again" ... in these days of rush happiness and love are to be savoured in the "now" ... taken somewhere in the coast near Lisbon, Portugal.

To all of you a nice week !!

Free Spirit Sunday #7

The fog crept in again this morning so off I went camera in hand to the Church just round the corner and this little chap was nestled in amongst the frozen grass just reaching above, so down on my hands and knees I went for Day 22's photo.

Thanks for all comments and faves they are all greatly appreciated and have helped me get another Explore #206 :o)

Today has been another washout....although I should have known as I was at the hair dressers this morning and it always rains on me !!I managed a very quick 5 mins walk around the block to grab a couple of shots in a break in the cloud....then it poured down again !!

This little leaf was standing tall waiting to open...I think it was a leaf but I think it looks like a flower bud !!

We were up bright and early on the camp site this morning so I took the opportunity to photograph the morning dew drops that had settled in the field of clover that we were camped in....I really liked this one as it looks like a little crystal ball.

Happy Easter Slider's Sunday everyone !!

Edit: I have just realised that today's ODC theme is 'Treasure' and this is definitely a little treasure !

I will be trying my very best to catch up with everyone's photostream's asap !

Another daily challenge I have struggled with, then I remembered that it was Texture Tuesday and I almost abandoned the challenge completely, so here's my thinking....this is a Hydrangea flower bud, the plant is enormous and dwarfs my little flowers so I have to really cut it back every year and now the little flower buds are slowly beginning to change and you can see the pink flowers coming through. The Texture Tuesday challenge was to include Words and so I have used 2 of Kim Klassen's textures one with words and I also found a quote that fit really well for both challenges.

No one is in control of your happiness but you; therefore, you have the power to change anything about yourself or your life that you want to change ~ Barbara de Angelis

I have made so many changes in the past year including taking up photography, which is probably part of my therapy too so this image is for me !!

Today has been a glorious day and rain, greyness and wind are set to return tomorrow...so off I went down to Cockerham sands to capture something 'Close' to the sea. Although it was very warm in land by god it was windy out on the coast and I ended up with tear stained cheeks for my endeavours....well worth it though !! +1 as an alternative in comments !

This bench is 5 mins from home by car and I pass it on the way home from work most days and always think 'I must photograph that bench !!' So here we go, first time I've been out with the camera in a week thin neck is getting better slowly...another triple for Day 150, Bench Monday and the Daily Challenge.

Thanks for stopping to view, comment and fave, all very much appreciated :o)

I think that this is the first photograph that I have taken this week that isn't of me !! Yey I hear you cry !! As soon as I saw the challenge today I new what I was going to do, this was shot on the Condor Green section of the River Lune Millennium Walk, which was an old disused railway track which was removed and redeveloped to produce walkways and cycleways.

HOPEFULLY, WE HAVE LOVED ONES, AND TRUSTED FRIENDS WHO ARE PREPARED TO CATCH US.

I HAVE BEEN SO FORTUNATE TO HAVE SUCH.

AND DIDN'T HAVE TO FALL VERY FAR,

BESIDES THE LOVING ARMS OF FRIENDS MAKE FALLING SOMETIMES WORTH THE FALL.

Here we go again!

Mamma Mia, here I go again

My my, how can I resist you?

Mamma Mia, does it show again

My my, just how much I've missed you?

So yeah, totally forgot how to use my "big girl" camera. Put on the wrong lens. Been a long time absence Flickr friends.

New town, new cameras, and now with smart phones!

Here's to Spring and health.

This morning was wet and damp and miserable but I was determined to find a shot on the way to work. I got an extremely muddy foot - must remember to put walking boots in the car - but it was worth it (I feel) for a little droplet bokeh for Day 42.

Have a great weekend :o)

Starting off the New Year with a party! I am hoping to do a 365 this year, and this is my first photo. I am going to try to make it a 365 Toy Project. I started one in 2015, and only got half way through the year. Here’s to a creative 2018!

Thanks everyone ..

The front of my office building, returning to work after two weeks off for Christmas and New Years on a very dreary, very cold Jan 2. For 118 Pictures in 2018, # 01 "Here we go again". Our office is on the top floor, and one corner of it shows here. My desk is on the corner you see here, overlooking both the front parking lot and a view out the other window to downtown Austin.
