A pair of helpers shove on the rear of an eastbound intermodal train as it heads into Allegheny Tunnel in Gallitzin, PA.
I shot this photo today during a multi-media project I'm guiding for an Army exercise. I'm the team-leader of our team 11 from the 55th Signal Co. (Combat Camera). The editors decided not to use it, but for me, this photo is priceless; it is a photo of my parent-in-laws. My father-in-law, Jesús, is rehabilitating from a massive stoke. Another project around a water theme. This time it involved an old mobile phone and some food die. Strobist info, Canon 430ex and 580ex camera left and right 1/64 and Nikon SB-26 positioned under the water container providing some up lighting. Just shot using direct flash no light modifiers used.

Hanson-liveried 59104 Village of Great Elm sets off down the B&H with good old 6L21 Whatley to Dagenham with a suitably decorated matching wagon set.
Rather than the popular shot from the edge of Bratton Downs (Westbury White Horse) I took this parked up on the B3098 which runs below said equine chalk figure.
Just to the right of the locomotive (and out of frame) is a small-holding on a small lane, outside their gate is a pile of excrement and a polite and informative sign with the message "Alpaca Poo, Help Yourself" - I guess it beats the more common Horse or Bull variety especially prevalent on InstaTikWhatsFace these days (or am I just showing my age?).
Saw this under the groom's shoes while shooting the wedding. Thought it was the funniest thing hahaha

HELP! CALL AN AMBULANCE! OH THE HUMANITY!
Spent several hours this morning "Bumming Around Nashville" so, you know, set coming soon. Got a few shots around MidTown, Tennessee Central Railroad Museum, Mount Olivet Cemetery, and Scarritt Bennet Center.
Upon leaving the Railroad Museum I decided to venture some roads on which I have never travelled. I rode through a maze of gritty urban streets. This was not a residential area but an old industrial and commercial area where now can be found countless utility companies, electrical power stations, Metro this and that, trucking companies, etc. It's just not a very pretty area in the least.
Well, somewhere along the route I got turned around and was lost. I have an excellent sense of direction but, as you Nashvillians know, it is easy to lose your way in Nashville especially for visitors who discover the road they are travelling has three or four different names. Anyway, I digress; So I'm driving along not knowing where I am or where I am headed and I drive past this wrecked airplane! Wow, what a find!!!!! This fuselage is located inside an automobile junk yard. It made me wonder if this might have been that little craft which crashed into that house off Antioch Pike back in the 1980's. Probably not.
As it turns out, this junk yard is just down the road from the entrance to Calvary Cemetery.
In other news: My Tour Guide book to Mount Olivet Cemetery is complete and I received my copies today. This book is not available for purchase and I have it on private at Booksmart. Mount Olivet has a policy against commercial photography within the cemetery and I thought if I made the book available for sale then it would thence become commercial. Hence, I made a few copies for myself and will allow anyone who wishes to take the tour to borrow a copy. Aside from some typo errors which I found the book turned out pretty good. I am claiming that it is the most comprehensive book ever written about Mount Olivet Cemetery. The book does contain photos.
In conclusion; Driving around some of Nashville's gritty underbelly left me feeling a bit dirty yet receiving my book got me pumped. So I'm pumped and dirty which calls for some really gritty, down in the dirt, throbbing Rock-N-Roll. Don't click the link if you are offended by "dirty words" and such. It does RAWK though.

The annual truck convoy progressing through Dunstable on 8 June, from Flamstead to Billington Showground. It took nearly twenty minutes to pass and this is just a minutes worth. There were a number of older trucks this year and I will weed out some stills in due course.
Most of the ship is going well, now at 704 pieces. The bridge and tower is the only thing I'm having issues with. In this scale, the ship is too big to use the 1x1 cones, like I have gone with, but too small to use pyramid bricks, which would be the right shape, but not steep enough. Any ideas? The reference pic I'm using are a model of the ship, since real photos at high angles are hard to take/find.

I am knitting in circular with needle double point..
but I am having a problem in the part when I have to change to the other needle
as you can see is too much open the stitch (is for a plush.. and it can not be so open)
I don't know if I explain well my problem.. (see note in the picture)
Some advice to make it better?
