I'm not having the easiest of times at the moment so will be on and off Flickr over the next week or so. I'll do my best to catch up with comments today but I apologise if they're brief and if I don't have time to look at all your recent uploads. Hope you all have a lovely day and here's a cute little duckling to start the week with!

Amtrak train 449, the Boston Section of the Lakeshore Limited throttles up departing from its station stop and heads through CP98 on CSXT's ex Boston and Albany Berkshire Sub with four cars trailing three units. At Albany-Rensselaer the train will combine with 49 up from New York City and continue west overnight to Chicago. At right is Amtrak 100, the P42 painted in a one of a kind deep midnight blue scheme meant to honor night shift workers for Amtrak's 50th anniversary. It will lead shuttle train 475 south to New Haven shortly after.

Hello.....Is it me u'r looking for ?!? :))

Dù rằng đường mình chung đôi A ngỡ rằng sẽ dài. Ngta yêu nào đâu cứ phải bên nhau đến cùng.

Sẽ còn mình A với nỗi bất an

Sẽ chẳng biết phải khóc hay cười những khi nhớ E ?!?

Rồi lo lắng, ổn k nếu E thiếu A ?!?

Giờ thì A đã can đảm để nhìn E mỉm cười.

Và cám ơn E ngày qua.

Dù điều này làm A đau hơn cả tới thiên đường :)

This is a close up of the welcome sign to a popular large supermarket; this was taken at one of their Hertfordshire stores.

A good design, and again, one of things people notice but don't really see.

Another storm due next weekend so went looking for something not storm related!!

A little Chestnut-backed Chickadee popping by to say "Hello"!

Love how tiny yet cheeky and brave these cute little birds are.

It's been a while. I put on the training wheels and took my new snow shoes to Paradise because I figured there would be a lot of people around. No one followed me up past Edith Creek. I thought that I was going to Panorama Point but when I reached the ridge I woosed out as there were signs of avalanche all over the south face of Rainier and the snow was super wet on a warm day. being alone and no trail blazed I settled for this, besides, after yesterday's moody b&w I needed something bright here. :-)

If you zoom in you can see the cornices and avalanche debris. it's a mad world up here! :-)

Hello. Guess who is back for at least the winter?

To see the beauty of this photo, double click on the picture. Good luck and enjoy it!...

I picked up this mug a couple months ago on one of my grocery trips and tucked it aside for the first day of spring.

I half expected that I would forget all about it and curse myself for it, but this afternoon as I was starting dinner prep it popped into my mind and I quickly dug it out of the hiding place I'd stashed it in.

Whew, I'm glad I remembered. Scott suggested this angle and spot and it all came together quite nicely. I really like the way this shot turned out.

Happy First Day of Spring Everyone!

Hope you've all had a good day.

Wishing you all a happy Saturday!

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! xo❤️

Usually sit on this bench in the morning with a wake up coffee but today a friend popped up just to say hello !, mellow sunday ;-))

As we waited for our friends at Manly Wharf we saw this little fella curled up in the tree.

The common brushtail possum (Trichosurus vulpecula, from the Greek for "furry tailed" and the Latin for "little fox", previously in the genus Phalangista) is a nocturnal, semiarboreal marsupial of the family Phalangeridae, native to Australia and invasive in New Zealand, and the second-largest of the possums.

Like most possums, the common brushtail possum is nocturnal. It is mainly a folivore, but has been known to eat small mammals such as rats. In most Australian habitats, eucalyptus leaves are a significant part of the diet, but rarely the sole item eaten. Its tail is prehensile and naked on its lower underside. The four colour variations are silver-grey, brown, black, and gold.

It is the Australian marsupial most often seen by city dwellers, as it is one of few that thrive in cities and a wide range of natural and human-modified environments. Around human habitations, common brushtails are inventive and determined foragers with a liking for fruit trees, vegetable gardens, and kitchen raids. Its once vast distribution has been greatly affected by drought, epizootic disease and intrusion of invasive mammals into its habitat.

Dame Edna Everage, often known simply as Dame Edna, is a character created and performed by late Australian comedian Barry Humphries, known for her lilac-coloured ("wisteria hue") hair and cat eye glasses ("face furniture"); her favourite flower, the gladiolus ("gladdies"); and her boisterous greeting "Hello, Possums!"
