When I visited tangerinee in Vancouver a couple of months ago, one of the things she introduced me to was the concept of "hell money". There was a whole store in her neighborhood dedicated to cheap paper representations of weath...stacks of bills, ipods, cell phone, miniature SUVs, etc all made of paper. Apparently burning these things help bring prosperity to lost relatives in the afterlife. This is an oven in the historic Chinese section of Mountainview Cemetery. Vancouver, BC

Pied-billed Grebe (Podilymbus podiceps) in Winter Plumage
Back-lit in low light this Grebe proved to be a difficult capture, but after a significant amount of fussing around in PhotoShop I managed to extract this image out of the murkiness.
