I grew up within 50 miles of Hell but never visited until this summer. It's little more than a scenic bend in the road with a large, unattractive convenience store and a few signs for the amusement of tourists.

It was a damn hell great time in Virginia, where I went to celebrate my best friends 40th birthday. I met her other best friend, and we had a ball. The first damn hell bathroom I talked them into, they thought I was nuts. The second, the laughed in fun. The third was requested by them, not by me :) See, you can make a damn hell dedicated group of friends if you try!

The PUMA HellRunner™ is over multi-terrain and varying underfoot conditions. There will be everything from running tracks and trails to water-filled areas and plenty of steep hills. Expect to get very wet! It will be nature at its toughest. The course will be marked but do not expect to see mile or kilometre markers….that’s for those softy road running types. All you need to know is that the course will be probably more than 10 and less than 12 miles in length.
Photographed from Triborough Bridge Walk/Bike Path. It carries Amtrak and some freight trains. One of the most beautiful bridges in the area in my humble opinion. Needs a new paint job though.
This whole neighbourhood is sick of the driver and the friends who use this vehicle - they like to turn up the music with all the doors open - have a bit of a street party around the car whether 10pm or 2am. To hell with the neighbours.
